First it was my father feeds me. Now, its i have younger siblings. What next?? I have a wife and 5 kids?? Keep making up stories about me if it makes u sleep well at night. Spartacus. Lord commander of NL! In the grand scheme of things, u are irrelevant. Ur life begins and ends on NL. That's why i'm not always surprised when u tend to take petty grudges on this platform personal like a 10 yr old girl fighting over an high school crush. But then again, i'm not really surprised by such asînine behaviours. U are a bástard son of a rètarded village mascot who inadvertently impregnated the village witch. No wonder ur life is such an Epic fail. Piece of advice: U should consider donating urself to science so that the scientific community can better understand how the brain a fool works! Fûcking Bâstard!!! 8 Likes |

Lana1: Ok this is getting annoying now. Who owns this goddam mail? Oya quick parentage spot check. If you're viewing this thread and your daddy is, or once was a village mascot....please hands up. Ignore the 'retărded' bit for now. Also if you're viewing this thread, and your mother has been known to keep a broomstick and occasionally dabble in supernatural affairs, please hands up. 3 Likes |

afrodoc2: I stand corrected, however in his glory years, Depor was a regular top 2 or top 3 team and regular UCL QF and Semi-finalist. I only saw Riquelme in those stages in 2006. |

''During Antonio’s time at the club, we won our sixth league title and eighth FA Cup. In the title winning season, the club set a then-record 30 wins in a 38-game Premier League season, as well as a club-record 13 consecutive league victories. Jorginho, Kante and bakayoko in three man midfield. We need a right winger that is prolific in front of goal, try to keep hazard sell either Pedro or Willian(Willian should be sold to me). |

Ibime: Depor was a perennially good side long before Valeron got there (and even won the league before him) right from the days of Bebeto, Naybet, Fran, Donato, Mauro Silva and even when Valeron got there Tristan, Makaay and others contributed a great deal. Not saying Valeron wasn't good but dismissively saying he was better than Riquelme and rating Riquleme at the level of Gago is what i found blasphemous. You probably didn't watch enough of Riquelme, Messi would do human sacrifice if he could get a young Riquelme in this Argentine squad. 2 Likes |

afrodoc2:Riquelme was a joy to watch, he was a leader on the pitch, he could pass, score, defend and attack in equal measure...Ibime you should appreciate him more. |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by raumdeuter: 2:53pm On Jul 13, 2018 |
patrickmuf: No this is not Riquelme, the only thing he could do was pass, he could barely move, mostly strolling round the field, He cant defend anything. He had to be catered to severely to function and his output wasn't worth the effort. I even think Pablo Aimar was a better playmaker than him 2 Likes 1 Share |

You guys should quote yourselves...We don't have time for all this silent shading, if a soldier fires Bazooka, you expect him to aim at his target, you don't expect the target to aim for the bazookas missiles so stop stressing our brain cells and let us know whom your shots are directed at |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Nihilstjnr: 3:20pm On Jul 13, 2018 |
Vanquay: Exactly, A marksman shoots a bullet at his target. He doesn't just shoot in the air, and expect his target to work out that the bullet belongs to him, before jumping up to collide with said projectile It's ridiculous. How the hell are we supposed to spectate if the combatants are refusing to step in the ring togerher? 4 Likes |

raumdeuter: I won't argue this too far, it was that Gago talk that scattered my dada. If you say in descending order Rui Costa, Riquelme, Valeron and Guti, then Gago WAY below them i won't debate it. And you are right Riquelme couldn't defend and he was a stroller, but what a majestic stroller. I can just picture him with his bent posture, ambling around the pitch in a relaxed and arrogant manner. |

raumdeuter: Aimar was another good one, sadly derailed by injuries. Totally different styles, Aimar more of an on-the-run dribbler and with far more pace and work rate than Riquelme. Riquelme was stronger, had better vision, was a better passer and much better shooting technique. Riquelme could control the tempo of the game better than Aimar.......yet the argument could go either way (but right this moment i am thinking Riquelme edges it). |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by A40(m): 4:10pm On Jul 13, 2018 |
afrodoc2:Riquelme had a relatively short prime in Europe maybe 2 seasons or less, I think he balled more for Argentina than at club level He stayed for too long at Argentina. Had he come to Europe at a younger age the European aspects of the game would have been a lot easier for him to imbibe. In terms of naturally gifted talent I'd even say he was better than Mendieta but he didn't come to Europe in time. I also think that generation of Argentine players were mental midgets Aimar, Saviola, Riquelme |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by afrodoc2: 4:29pm On Jul 13, 2018 |
A40: On your first 2 points i think you are spot on. In terms of the Argentine players, i think they have had an unusual run of bad luck in terms of coaching and the final make up of the squad and in some ways it even extends to today. Take for example the 2002 team in which the coach persisted in playing through an aged Batistuta when you had younger players like Claudio Lopez, Kily Gonzales and Crespo in the squad. Then he also went picked an unbalanced squad with 4 or 5 playmakers (Ortega, Veron, Gallardo, Aimar) to the world cup cos they were the best players. In 2006 the coach inexplicably took out Riquelme and Crespo in a match they were leading against Germany and left Messi on the bench and you know what happened next. That was a case of the coach blowing it, not the players. 2010 world cup was wasted by taking an alcoholic and junkie coach in Maradona who wasted a slot on the team on his aged Boca drinking companion Martin Palermo. As an aside, do you notice how Argentina had too many playmakers about 15yrs ago and not enough strikers while now they have too many strikers and no playmakers. |

afrodoc2: Riquelme is no more than the Banega that Messi is playing with right now. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Ibime(m): 4:40pm On Jul 13, 2018 |
raumdeuter: Riquelme is a luxury player. Aimar was far more effective. Aimar can boast of 2 la ligas, Europa league, UCL final etc to which he was instrumental. |
