A player who we agree is good can have a bad day and that would be understandable unlike a player who blows hot and cold.

Mind you I am not focusing on Lukaku. Am talking generally. I personally think Lukaku has improved tremendously, but he ain't there yet. The other players also have to understand the strength of the CF and find a way to create chances for him. If people who are supposed to create do their work then those supposed to put the ball in the net would be exposed when they get 5 CCC in a game and can't score any.

We expect our expensive players to have more good days than bad. It should not even be 50/50.

Maguire that’s not better than Smalling. Forget all the abracadabra that he does with ball at his feet, his composure is zero and he tends to draw foul easily. Maguire shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence as Alderweireld.

Of course football ain’t easy and these guys are paid top dollars to at least show some effort.

We all have favorite players and some players we don’t like (some just don’t like seeing the face of some players ) We want our players to put in their best 110% whenever they put on the club colors and represent us. We criticize our players unnecessarily even when we know that sometimes they re struggling because others also are struggling, there’s so much a player came do among average joes, forget what Dayo use to say about one player dragging the team to trophies, football is a team sport and everyone will have to play its part.
