I beg to differ..the most important thing is not to leave gaps in between the 10years. The work history automatically populates in the personal history section. It's been said multiple times..anything to less complicate your application especially if you are not earning points on it.

I find it so amusing how some of us talk as though we are Ahmed Hussein himself. When you say something that is based purely on your thoughts, please be kind enough to say "I think" do not use a definitive like "... what is most important". So that those who don't know better understand it may not be factual and take due diligence to decide for themselves. The rules are clear and easily verifiable, and the rule is what is important. We maybe from a nation where rules are mere formalities, but the VOs arent. . As a matter of fact you would have to sign an oath before submitting your application, with that oath you attest that the information you are about to submit is truthful, COMPLETE, and correct.

I would have ignored this mention but for the benefit of those who may be victims of this ill thought out advise, I would clarify.

The Personal History Section requires the applicant to fill in all the activities s/he did in the past 10 years. This is not my thought, it is what is demanded. That people get away with it, is exactly what it is, getting away with it. Inshort, let me repeat, you are required by CIC not Einsteino, to fill all the activities you did(work, education, etc) in the personal activity section, whether you are claiming point for it or not. it is because you wouldn't get points for it, that is why you are not required to submit any proof for them. However if you do not list it, and it is discovered that you left something important out, albeit intentionally, you risk making every single thing in your application questionable. That is when they start verifying things they didn't bother to earlier on and start looking for something to pin you down with.

I think I know what the problem is, on this thread we only hear chants of PPR and good news, so we have been accustomed to think everyone gets away with these petty lies. For your info, I know of a couple of rejected applications, interviewed folks, procedural fairness recipients and subsequent ban etc. Not everyone would come here to narrate their ordeal because people like to keep such on a low. You don't want to find yourself in a tight corner over a petty lie. I am not being sanctimonious here, just saying If you must lie on your app, make sure you had no choice and it was a well thought out lie.

I dont want to scare anyone but it is important folks begin to know what happens to some people, some, not everyone. You could get issued ADR over the slightest excuse, especially if your VO get your time or you jam LVO. In the course of this they do checks, ranging from basic to rigorous, in my case they looked me up on the internet, crawled my LinkedIn page. If they proceed to invite you for an interview, its not uncommon that you get there to find them armed with stuff taken off your social media. And they ask questions that doesn't even have much to do with your app. Yes, they ask questions like "Why did you come in so prepared for this interview? Do you belong to any immigration group". At some point you can begin to feel you are being investigated rather than interviewed. There has also been a case of someone who was advised(absurdly) at the interview to withdraw his application simply because he listed two permanent home address, he didnt oblige that though. So your thinking they wouldn't wonder what a grownup man has been doing for several years is not a sensible thing to me. It is even worse for couples, because a-times they interview them separately, and a times some minutes apart. Imagine if at the end of it, her story doesn't match that of her husband? and @coconuthead remembers what got he/her there in the first place was an unconvincing personal history.

@extraterestrial You see that your "I beg to differ", when push comes to shove it could be real beg, as in Bambiala. When someone gets a procedural fairness letter over a completely unimportant lie, they would start begging the villagers and their dieties that had no hand in it. I stand by what I said earlier, skipping his job is not worth it when you know you can put it in personal history and would not be required to submit any proof. Habeg! if person wan thief, no be kobo e go carry gun go thief na. dem say no near vampire e eye dey shuk for blood, you say wetin important na to go give am blood tonic.

I think that range is ok. A lot of the PPR timelines posted on this thread average 1 month or so.

baba no mind me and my keypad.

Maybe I got emotional over it because I have related with alot of folks who a proper advise would have saved them. We have to understand that our comments here are like prescriptions. Give a wrong one and someone somewhere who takes it may suffer.

I don't think it matters a big deal. It is not mandatory that the account show salary payments. But it serves as an added evidence that you work with the said company. It has reflected in people's GCMS that IRCC agents consider it. When you present it, you can raise a LOE to explain the delayed salaries and include your payslips.

Thanks a great deal. I appreciate
