There are three narratives now: yours, sb said his was ignored by, WES and this one. which way?
I told you not to conclude yet. My ATS certificate is already accepted and about to be evaluated. It may be clearer if ATS holders can possibly provide more info like year qualified, number of papers written or any exemptions claimed. For me, no exemptions claimed, wrote 4 papers in each of ATS 1 - 3, qualified in 2009.

Hi,

So someone told me something similar and from what I can see a new certificate is being issued for ATS and the examining body is ABWA mine was issued in 2006 and ICAN was the examining body, seems like the certificate issued by the new body is not being evaluated by WES

You may be correct but however, I sent them 2009 ABWA certificate and was accepted. Though while I was filling the form, I put ICAN as awarding body as it kept rejecting ABWA.

Hello Everybody,

I finally caught up with the thread. Coincidentally on the day I was scheduled to view my 30th June IELTS with British Council. My first post was going to be my result, but I still can't view it.

I did not receive any update that my result will be withheld for whatever reason. Yet it seems it's been withheld.

Now I have to wait till Monday to contact them. And I hear they are impossible to reach.

Oh well!
It's good to finally join you all!!!!!

I need help plz.

How can I overcome IELTS listening. Anyone with tips pls help me. I have written twice but still 7.5

This helped me: 1. I practiced Cambridge IELTS materials 1-12 Listening, even after the test, my listening is better. 2. Pronunciation of numbers like fifteen and fifty is that 'teen' is stressed and longer, while 'ty' is short. 3. Pronunciation of 1983 and 1993 could also be confusing, but if you follow the passage chronologically, you should be able to take a more calculated guess. 4. Don't just hear the recordings, LISTEN!!! Concentrate and follow the tape. 5. Glance through the questions, and underline keyword(s).
While I self practiced, I would advise you to get partners, it would help. 6. I joined about 3 IELTS Group populated with Indians, they share materials selflessly, a characteristic which would help us, if inculcated. Well, I peacefully exited the group after IELTS to make room for others.
I may not have the best score n listening, but I had 8.5.
Good luck.

Hello All,

Long time... Please this might have been answered here; should one do upfront medical and submit with e-APR or wait for it to be requested? if the latter, how can the application be submitted with uploading the medical report?

Thank in advance

You have to upload your medical form before the system allows you to submit. There is the option to upload it post ITA.So if you have your ITA, go ahead and do your medicals .

Evening all, I just checked my result.
LRWS - 8, 6.5, 6, 7.5
I have done my evaluation..
Is this a good result?
Any link where I can test my CRS score?

Hi you,

For the EE process, you are better off with scores of at least 8,7,7,7 in L,S,R,W respectively.
You can simulate you scores using the following link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

However, you are better off taking the exams again

All the best

When you get an ITA, the medicals will have to be done before you submit the application, which is currently on or before the 60th day of getting an ITA except for paper based applications who have to wait for a medical request.
What stream are you applying under?

Does different arrangements of name matters during travel process-- either for schooling or work.
My waec name arrangements is John Mikel O
My jamb result- John Mikel Obi
My jamb/Sch admission letter- John Obi Mikel.. (Which will also be the name on my degree cert).

I'm in finals, will this pose an issue?

Good morning fam,

In a bid to increase our CRS, my wife who is the PA found a 9 months undergraduate diploma course as we planned she get another certificate to boost our CRS

My question is, would this raise any flag when documents are been verified by immigration officers as this is not an upgrade to her Bsc qualification.
