Pls gurus in the house, can high tension cable make cband signal to fluctuate?, I have been tracking mountain of fire live channel @46e, the signal is fluctuating, I have change several lnbf still the same, cos there high tension cable that run across that area, I use the dish to check for signal @10A, 18w, 34w and I got all those satelite with the same dish, but facing toward east where the high tension cable is, the signal fluctuate, no signal on 68e cband, what should I do?

Bro it does happen in areas without high tension (power lines) and I believe it's the memory of the receiver. usually,when it happens (to me). I disconnect the lnb cable, switch the decoder on without the cable ,wait for some time then switch off the decoder.. reconnect the lnb cable and switch it back on.. Remember to keep the dish facing the side (east) that you are experiencing the problem before you switch the decoder back on ...you may try it but I believe that it's a decoder/receiver problem as they get older..

it happened to me too when tracking for mountain of fire,i mean the same azerspace ,I had to change the decoder and it became stable.

yes it does. I use my Gotv sometimes with the dish cable , the dish serves as antenna and even better than the antenna it came with, but make sure the cable is not on disec switch

Is for real, I use the dish as antenna for the gotv but the cable should not be on disec, it is even stronger than the antenna it comes with, and not on any frequency, just fix the cable from the dish to where you fix the antenna

@yawwilson, thanks for your response, I Believe it is not the fault of decoder, I use the same satfinder to test already installed mountain of fire channel just half kilometer away from the current installation, the signal was normal,
