sorry for the crack.

Let me use this slot to implore erry1 who uses or intends to buy a xiaomi phone. If you can't afford a tempered glass, withhold buying the phone itself if you can't avoid frequent drops. I don't use tempered glass Sha. Infact, get extra for ground
No OEM screen for note 5 yet and the available AAA, those that ran into AAA for note 4x can gist you, I think Gptech did.
Why not just spend 1-2k to get tempered glass to insure your gorgeous screen? It's better safe than sorry kiss
The screen isnt spoiled. Only the glass breaks. Is it possible to change only the glass?

some cracks can't be stopped by any form of protection, that one dey, but there are many instances where after drops, only the tempered glasses were broken, leaving the screen untouched. Imagine the absence of tempered glasses in such instances.

No doubt, tempered glasses can prevent some really soft drops from inviting cobweb on screens.

Like I said, I don't use tempered glass because I know that falls that tempered glasses can stop can't occur to my phone.
.

True talk..

One just has to develop an attitude of being very careful with these devices and cut the rate of dropping.

The main thing is to even try very hard to avoid dropping the phone because tempered glass can't even withstand some fall. I used redmi note 4 for some months without screen protector, the awareness made me very careful.

When I bought my max 2, I didn't use screen protector for months within which it fell up to 5 times without Cracking. After fixing a tempered glass, same phone fell last week and the screen is slightly broken together with the glass. Straight line across the front glass of the phone. Luckily, the inner screen isn't affected.

If only there was a way to change just that cracked glass top. That inner OEM screen is where all those non-OEM wannabe replacement screens dey fail the ezam undecided

I think its difficult to do for those screens that are OGS... one glass screens.

Don't know though if xiaomi adopts OGS technology for its screens

Nice one,I never get updates on my redmi5 plus. I am still on 9.6. is that a redmi 5 plus update screen shot?
It's not like I got an update first. Ok follow this steps
1. Unlock Bootloader
2. Flash TWRP
3. Download MIUI 10 ROM global beta you can find links on XDA
4. Download Lazy flasher
Now backup your data ooo,
Flash the ROM, then flash lazy flasher.
After the ROM is set up you should at least get an update.
But you can't downgrade ROM back to lesser OS ooo.
I hope this screenshot answers your first question,
I don too type hand dey pain me, dem Gptech and co they try

Not entirely true. Bricking can only happen when you try to downgrade from the latest global beta
