Good morning sirs and mas...please I am so worried .My son will be 2 months on Sunday..The last time he pooed was 3 days ago..I am very worried..So are my wife and MIL..He cried a lot throughout the night .We thought he will poo but he didn't .E Jo nitori olorun(pls for God sake).I am so worried right now .(2)We stopped using AAbidec multivitamin for him because without it,he eats a lot .Can we continue using it for him?

If he's on exclusive breastfeeding then there's no need to worry,at least that's what i learnt from newborn thread because my son also went like 6 days without pooing when we were on exclusive...you can give him enough water if he isn't exclusively breastfed, it should help..Do you think he cried throughout the night cos he hasn't pooed?

Since I took in I have not had a major vomiting session. My Sis was asking me if I have vomited that green bitter substance and was confused. The only time I throw up is when am brushing my tongue and it's not much n definitely not green but a bit bitter. Is it an issue that I didn't get to see it? On a happy note,we r 9 weeks 4 days today. Alhamdulillah

Welcome teamie. Both fruits are not advised in pregnancy especially if you yet to understand how your body works.
Actually, pineapple helps in dilating the cervix which could lead to miscarriage in early pregnancy. That's why some mothers in their last weeks of pregnancy are encouraged to take it to help in bringing on labour.

For orange, I read that you shouldn't take more than one a day to meet your daily requirement when pregnant. If your prenatal already has it, then there might be no need for it.
Pawpaw is also among the fruits to avoid in early pregnancy.
In conclusion, body differs. My Co wife ate all fruits and she did not have any issues with her pregnancy and delivery. Another person might toe her footstep and get a different result.
As a FTM, you might want to only eat these fruits in little portion.
Do provide us with your EDD so as to be added to the team list.

Is your wife doing exclusive breastfeed for the baby? My baby now poo every 2 or 3 days though I'm breastfeeding exclusively. During bath time, my MIL use mentholatum inserted with cotton bud on the anus after massaging with warm water, the baby poos after sometime. Note that she only does the mentolatum and hot water massage if she notice baby is yet to poo a day or 2.

I started taking folic acid like after 2 cycles because I noticed my period was scanty and the days reduced.And I was trying to conceive, my reason for the folic acid.

Welcome on board teamie, pineapple just like mama WhyworryPh explained should be avoided me I avoid it like plague because it makes me do number 2 very well b4 I got pregnant as in purge me so I'm scared of going close.
As for oranges, I take sour ones very well o because I love sour things now and it reduces constipation, it doesn't purge me like pineapple, I just go normally and I haven't experienced any problem at all but you can limit it to once a day as WhyworryPh advised, body differs.
Have a healthy and stress-free pregnancy journey dear.

I was going to post something but I forgot.
What happened to you was vulvar varicose vein rupture.
It is very rare, but when it happens, the woman is usually advised to do CS because VD puts pressure on it and might cause rupture (which happened in your case). But the rupture is not in all cases.
Note that CS does not heal or remove it, just decreases the chances of rupture. The nurses should have seen it during childbirth and shouldn't have stuffed you with pad (thereby increasing the pressure on it)

You'll most likely need surgery and you certainly need to see a Dr cos its location is a den for pathogens.

i had no pains during pregnancy, it was after i had my baby the pain started......the swollen labia has gone back to it's normal state,it's only torn now....The wound is 96% healed

So they didn't stitch the bursted labia? Please go to hospital for thorough check up. You could go to general hospital or health centre if money is a problem.

As at when i left the midwife's place,it wasn't possible to stitch it because it was still very swollen and filled with cloted bad blood.

If he is on exclusive breastfeeding don't worry,if not try giving him warm water first thing in the morning,and up his water intake too.

@Strongwoman333 please mama I don't think your MIL should be doing that on your baby,won't she feel pain,discomfort and cry. EBF can stay as long as 10-14 days without pooing I learnt that from mamas here and outside here too.My baby has stayed 12days without pooing,on the 13th day ehen the poo was something else. Just let your baby be. My opinion.

Good morning Mamas, please how do I overcome Anxiety? We clocked 37weeks yesterday and I've been anxious, can't stop thinking about when and how Labour will be.
The thought of how painful I heard it is, scares the hell outta me, Please help a FTM!

I also want to ask how safe it is moving around at 38weeks? DH will be on leave next week and I plan staying 2days with him before going back to my sister's place, I should be on my way to 39weeks then. Please is it safe make person no go born inside public transport.
