rip to d deceased, quite sad and unfortunate.... but Baba Iyabo should have made greater drainages as IBB did for us in Minna... Some things are preventable!

Nawaoo, may God heal our land and save us from further cry. Mag the souls of the departed rest in peace, may God console all those who lost there loved ones and grant quick recovery to they hospitalized.

There is a warning even from CNN that after the flood in Japan that it will be heading to NIgeria.

When it floods in the SS or SE you blame it on poor infrastructure and bad governance but when it happens in the SW it is climate change.

Every year. We don't know how to learn. After this incident everybody will go back to their normal life's because they feel 2019 season will never come.

We don't know how to plan for the future.

Nigeria one of the worse places on earth to live, ordinary rain caused this damage, what if we lived in zones where hurricanes, volcanoes, tsunamis, earthquakes hit us, how would we have faired.

I dont blame people who desperately escape this sheet hole.

A proper drainage system could have averted this crisis, a well organised town planning unit could have ensured best standards were followed to ensure houses are built to standard.

I weep for Nigeria
