Does anyone know if a draw has been conducted since the beginning of the financial year in July? This is to help me plan my next move. SA now nominates my occupation. the list was updated today 16.7.18. Must my total point be 65 before any of the states nominates me? NT and SA require AU $35,000 and 20,000 respectively for individual applicant requesting for nomination. How easy it is to cross this hurdle as I dont have 9m/5.4m? I also find this on NT website real feedback from NT employers on your skills and experience (auto-generated responses from job websites and employer HR departments are insufficient)Does this mean I have to start applying for jobs from Nigeria to get a nomination? Please help my solution |

mrs2u: From my experience, ICAA is lenient as I assessed with them and they even emailed me asking if I had any experience prior to my first work experience. In addition, my hubby used them few weeks ago for just his qualification assessment and it was assessed positively in just few days. The qualifications we used are: ACCA and OBU (Bsc). Other accountants that assessed with CPA or IPA can advise accordingly. 1 Like |

Hello good people I just got my MSA assessment result as unsseccessful from TRA. This was stated as the reason This letter confirms that Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) has assessed your skills under the TRA Migration Skills Assessment Program. Your application has been assessed as UNSUCCESSFUL for the occupation of Fitter (General) – 323211 for the following reasons: Qualification Section 3.4 of the TRA Migration Skills Assessment Applicant Guidelines states that TRA will use various assessment sources to verify that your training: was accredited and regulated by an appropriate governing body is at a comparable level to the Australian qualification relevant to the nominated occupation is directly related to the nominated occupation TRA was unable to verify your qualification/s met all of the above requirements. As a result, TRA has not been able to confirm you hold a qualification that is comparable to the AQF qualification for your nominated I submitted all the required documents HND And ND transcripts and certificate in Mechanical engineering from yaba college of education. So the above reasons are all null. Am at a cross road Because I will have to ask for a review which will cost me 900 AUD after I paid 100 AUD for this assessment |

Did anyone else experience this? I did my medicals before we got ITA and applied for visa and my husband did after we got ITA and applied for VISA. Immiaccount showed health clearance provided for both of us up until two weeks ago. Now its showing health examination required for just me. I thought it was a system thing and it will correct itself eventually cos that had happened in the past but this one that it has refused to correct itself. Is this anything to worry about? |

trastar:I was planning g to do my medicals next week also but noticed that it is only showing for 189.190 and 489 has been removed.i will check again next week perhaps the upgrade.if it does not come up then I guess they want to to contact one for medicals before one can do it instead of frontloading |

jandedfelloh: Sometime PM gets lost in spam, overlooked, unnoticed, unattended I implore that all initial inquiries should be dropped here, because sometimes, the person you sent a PM may not be available. there are lots of capable hands in this organic thread To answer you: Your transcript content and duration of degree is the determinant of whether ACS will awarded you 10 or 15 point. I see you also have limited experience, therefore you cant claim points for that, this is currently a major set back because the game is different (tougher) now 20 points in English is a must. In general, your current profile is leaning towards visa 489 which is equally not gonna be easy without exp point but not impossible.. Do you have a partner? wife/fiancee I will advise you look towards Canada also. |

olystic: I intend to assess with TRA but may be they require BSc qualification. You may check this link: https://training.gov.au/TrainingComponentFiles/MEM05/MEM30205_R3.pdf I think they compared your course with one like that or a closely related course. You may also add certfications that boosts your chances as a fitter. |
