For example "Divine motors" now changed to "Divine motors & haulage limited" When I got reference letter last year from the company, it wasn't stated in the letter that the company used an old name. The company wrote I worked with "Divine motors & haulage Limited" from 2011 to 2014

Also, while I wrote my work history, I didn't use the old name, I just wrote that I work with the company from 2011 to 2014 using the company's limited name because I felt it was same company.

I didn't write this in LOE too.

I understand Accra now ask for CAC docs from some people. What do u think will happen if they see that it was registered as limited in 2013 even when my Reference letter said i worked with them from 2011 to 2014. Is this "misrepresentation". I need your inputs Pls. thanks

It's Canadian dollar (CAD), not US dollar (USD). Use 290 as exchange rate but you may check either of https://xe.com/ or https://www.oanda.com/ for your conversion rates

If you were an employee and not the owner of the business, then nobody will request for CAC documents from you, because you were not required to have access to it.

If the name has changed, then very ok to use the new company name, and since that was what you did, on point too. No need to worry, coolue temper.

Good morning house. Am no where near the pool yet, but just gathering up information as I await my ECA. Am an in-house lawyer and my job role is largely; ensuring regulatory compliance within the organization, legal advisory services to all the u its of the organization, protect the company against avoidable legal suits, represent the company in legal proceedings , company secretarial duties, contract drafting and reviews.

I don't quite think these job descriptions fit within NOC 4112 (Lawyers and Quebe Notaries) ditto for NOC 0114. I know they say we can combine two NOCs in one job reference. Do I combine both of these NOCs for this purpose? Elders of the thread, kindly assist with your wealth of experience, please. Thanks alot.

My Question:
1. The Surname on my international passport is different from my legal Surname now cos shortly before my marriage I did a change of name, hence wife and son's surname is different from mine on our international passport. How do I go about applying? Should I use my name as on the international passport or the new legal name?

2. In registering for the IELTS exam will I use the name on the international passport or the new legal name?

My wife IELTS Result is out with score of L 7.5, W 6.0, R 7.0 , S 7.0. She has over 5 years of work experience, hold a bachelors degree, less than 30 years old, a Nurse,we have a relative in canada. Please whats her hope in applying for federal skilled programe. secondly should she go ahead to create a profile with that score or it would be preferable i write IELTS too . Advise please noble ones in the house

Have they given you an interview date and did they tell you why you require an interview? This does not seem like misrepresentation to me. But does the company have online presence? If they do, won’t it show that the name changed?

Since you didn't do a LOE. You will do the explaining orally.
Assuming Accra requests for CAC documents of the company you work for.
You take the evidence of registration which definitely is in the old name. You also go along with the evidence of change of name registered at CAC. This will show that, the name of the company changed (Let me not bore you with the names of the forms). And then you explain.

The name on my birth certificate is Julian Chukwuamaka Oloruntoba but the name I've in every of my certificates (WAEC, BSc, MSc and international passport) has been Julian Amaka Oloruntoba. I just want to know if this won't be a problem in my PR journey.

P.S: I used the birth certificate without any issue when applying for my UK student visa.

I am not condoning such behaviour. Anyone that possesses such images like child porn or whatever deserves whatever is meted out to them. I obviously have no experience of North America because I don't like there. I am in Australia. But it's just clear that things have changed and crazy is the new norm if privacy laws can be so easily swatted to one side. Doesn't happen on this side of the aisle though. Someone is asking if he can use his work experience from 2010 to 2014 as work experience for this Canadian express entry.He got employed using his OND back then.he went ahead and got his BSc this year and doesn't have up to a year's work experience post-BSc.

Next steps is to apply with all you said you have so get ur documents ready and POF too before you are invited(certiifcates, ielts results, reference letter, childrens birth certificate). Also note that your supporter will be interviewed for them to be sure you are trully related (they also need documents proving this) for those who dont have birth certificate you can do a letter of attestation at NPC. If they need something else it would be requested.

Nobody said the money must be in your account for six month, but for every lump sum, you must have a valid explanation to give. If it is a gift, you will get gift deed to back it up. If you sold your land or car, get documents to back it up.

If your wife is already pregnant at the time you get ITA, You could inform them in your LOE and as soon as the child is born you will update them with your documents.

I did my ielts in October 2017 with LRWS 8.5,8.5,7.5,7.5.

I will submit my passport within the week and update you on how that goes.Good luck to us all and excuse any typos.I am rushing to type this and leave as I am already running late and I don't want to keep those awaiting the gist in Limbo.
