MeinKampf: Cool and all good and noted. But I think the person asking the question was asking why he was not charged biometrics fee when he applied and people were of the opinion that if you use the same account, one is not required to take a second biometrics if he had taken it before. This is incorrect information, every time you have to appear for biometrics. Effective July 31st is when the rules will change. |

This morning I want to pray for every application submitted. That as the visa officers review them our applications will find favor before their eyes in Jesus name. Amen. It will end in praise. goingforward. 18 Likes |

Please I need your help I mistakenly sent(validated my online application by ticking that I haven’t made any visa application to any embassy before whereas I have applied for US Embassy a year ago.. But I have met every requirement for the Canadian study permit.i have laid part of my school fee to the school. I have had my biometrics today too. Please someone should help me on this. Will I be denied as a result of that mistake? |

sopho: You will be penalized for misrepresentation. That was a costly mistake. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by alftdbts: 1:17pm On Jul 17, 2018 |
sopho: Why not inquire about this problem from the VFS guys for firsthand info, or ask those who are experienced. As discussed in previous threads... You can email them to:/cc: cic contacts in Nigeria telling how the mistake came by because you were expected to read carefully before ticking and also proofread before final submission. They might regard it as a flimsy excuse or a second-thought lie. But for the record email them and keep your sent message safely till a later time, hopefully you might have no need for it since your application processing starts after 1-3days after submission. Good luck, and also wait to read other advice you would be given here. Mine might not be the right one afterall 1 Like 1 Share |

Bodmillz: It's indeed a costly mistake because it is clear to see, even in US visa application, you find the same there, except the Canadian own is trickier. Think carefully about why you picked NO. And state the reason plus you filled this by yourself so you can't say an agent filled a wrong info cus that's what they are known to always do. (You didn't read carefully is your only alibi, you generalized that it was only to Canada until you later read after submission. God is your strength ) nothing else. And pls we should all avoid 'He say, She say' and other generalizations they are always 50% correct and you need a 100% that's why we here on a forum with first hand experience. |

Please I mistakenly sign on section B(Children) of family information instead of section C ( Certification) What do you think will be the implication of this on my application.

Femiadeuyi: Abuja is N48,500 at Abuja Clinic. I believe it is significantly cheaper in Lagos. Probably N28,000. Also, if it is a Medical request i will advise to choose Lagos. It seems Abuja Clinic delay in sending Medical reports to CIC. I did mine there and it took them 2 weeks to send mine. 1 Like 1 Share |

sopho: @sopho, Only God can help you. My advice is that if you did this mistakenly. You may send an email or notify them but bear in mind that it may also complicate matters as the VO may think that you are trying to cover up by explaining. If I were to lend my two cents, simply take it to God in prayers. God rules in the affairs of man. goingforward. 2 Likes |

harde116: Since we are being petty, I'd add that this is the most ridiculous post I have seen on Nairaland Travel section all year long. I don't care who you are but you haven't earned the right to talk to anyone like that on this thread. If you followed your own thinking rule, you'd understand the validity of wealth360 earlier post. If you want some respect around here, please do well to return the favor. |

Hello fam..I am new here and I need advice from the gurus in the house. I am a a graduate of Electronics Engineering I want intend doing my masters in Canada but seems my Cgpa which is 3.24 is not high for that so my agent advice I should apply for a certification course related to my field in University of Regina in ontario that after one year I can switch to masters fully. My question is should I take that route can I be given visa with a certification course will this route fly |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by wealth360: 5:50pm On Jul 17, 2018 |
Hello Bro. Please be careful with that Agent, The University of Regina is never in Ontario. U of R is in Saskatchewan. And again do not limit yourself because of that CGPA, you can actually get admitted with that cgpa but with a strong statement of purpose, conviction and also maybe if you have some years of work experience in that field and they are all required in your program or dept. Also we have seen several people with PGD or PGC acquiring a study permit here. If you can take your time to read through the thread let say in the last two Part (12 and 13) you will find some information that can help. Also check schools like MUN seems their cgpa requirement is low. Operation you can do it yourself Amahjosh: |

kpizzle: There is no crowd today. If you get there early enough you will be attended to same day, only those who get there late are given appointment for another day. I was there earlier and duly attended to without previous appointment. But those who had appointment for today were given preferential treatment before first time comers. Simple advice, if you to want to be attended to same day without having to book appointment for another day, arrive there as early as 6:00AM. I got there 5:30AM and was no 3 on the queue. I hope this might help someone 3 Likes |
