A final year Business Administration student of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, has been found dead inside an abandoned well, four days after going missing while being chased by SARS operatives.

News has it that the hostel of late Saliu Alli Haruna was invaded by the officers on Friday night, July 13. Scared by the sudden invasion, all the occupants of the hostel took to their heels, in different directions and surrounding bushes in the area.

Unfortunately for Haruna, he fell inside an abandoned well. He was subsequently declared missing, since no one knew what became of him after the raid. However, after almost four days of intense search, his body was discovered in the well.

I could remember vividly when I was doing my IT in Delta, something happened, Though we're instructed not to pick anything that belongs to the Farm's Institute, not even a mango...
My friends and I were strolling one afternoon and we saw fine goals and picked.
Some minutes later we heard a shout from behind that we should stop.
Knowing fully well that we might be expelled, we took to our heels; we ran helter skelter into the bush.
At a time I noticed I was going down into a hole, I quickly grabbed a cushion and I was able to pull myself out; I evaded falling into a deep pith..
IF something bad happened, they would have said I died because of mere mangoes..I don't indulge in theft but was influenced.
The man might be innocent after all but being apprehensive of what SARS stands for he had run.

I didn't disagree with him bcus you would never know that he came back frm Malaysia,he dresses well without any bling bling stuff on him. He doesn't hv any fancy haircut or untidy beard.He may even tell them that he's a business man here in Nigeria and they would agree with him.
So the company you keep and the way you look would make you easy target to SARS.

Am not defending the idio.ts call SARS in anyway,am just trying to give advice that will help us in avoiding these evil men since we have a failed system of government.

so so terrible,the incessant invasion of hostels have become a norm in ekpoma.I graduated from this dept last year,it really hurts because he was my immediate junior colleague and he looks very familiar to me.I remember d day I was stopped by these lunatics few days to my graduation last year after all the interrogation nothing incriminating was found on me one just walked up to me and said "you resemble person when we arrest two days ago" I flared up and told him four years in this town I haven't had a case to settle With the police.those guys r demons abeg.
