This is how I make mine:

In a clean bowl, add all your dry ingredients (sifted flour, sugar, baking powder, pinch of salt, nutmeg, margarine at room temperature).

Mix thoroughly.

In a separate bowl, whisk your egg and add your milk.

Pour into your flour mixture, mix thoroughly with hands until the batter is smooth and stretchy. Cover and set aside for a few minutes.
If you want the rock hard buns sold in the streets, make sure your batter is thick. The thicker the batter, the easier it is to mold into perfect round balls.
I don't like very hard buns so my batter is always light.

NB: I use lots of milk in mine because I love rich pastries. But you can leave out the milk(replace with warm water) and even leave out the eggs, as you wish.

Update: Old picture of buns I made some months back. My buns are usually shapeless because I prefer using a light batter rather than a thick one.

Thanks for this in for.

You coming with me to Italy, then I'll see if your statement stands. Cheese is life! grin
Italy is definitely in my travel plans, so I’ll see when I get there cheesy

I do love smoked cheese on my sandwich. That’s the only time I use love in the same sentence as cheese

Try Croque Monsieur if that's your weakness. Don't be fooled by the name , it's French ham and cheese toastie. You will thank me for it..its pure bliss on the taste buds.

Smoked cheese, I recommend scamorza.

As I knew before I commented...
Okay, seriously... Why do you want to know the difference between how Igbo and Yoruba make their jollof rice??
Let's start from here first, maybe you might be able to stop...

well because I heard Yoruba rice is the best and they have the best party jollof, that jollof rice isn’t really a typical Ibo food and as an igbo who loves Jellof rice that upset me cry

So pls is the difference between the way igbo and Yoruba tribes cook Jellof rice really that marked
