How many people will call the Medical Director in a day? Then, it means those numbers are not being answered by the CMD but by those staff.

Early 2017, a friend advised me to consult the hospital for optical issue to compare diagnosis with my private hospitals. I was there 7 am at GOPD after spending hours, I met one of the GOPD doctors who now directed me to Optical section. Around 3 pm, it was not my turn. I withdrew my paper & left. The following day I came back to the optical dept. I met the first doctor who sent me to lab for a test within optical unit. I was almost got blinded. There were so many nurses there, the one that attended to me was very unprofessional. The event created a scene. Two doctors & some nurses calmed me down. I collected from my paper from the nurse in charge of registration & threatened to report to Medical Director.

On my way to the Medical Director office, somebody told me I am just wasting my time. I just tore the LASUTH registration card & vow never to return again.

You were almost there but changed your mind because of hearsay? Why didn't you go into the MD's office to see for yourself if you were wasting your time or not?
It's never a good idea to turn back at the last moment because others think you are wasting your time.

You're not wrong though, the only thing is that everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. Everyone. If I put my number out there and say call me if there's any problem, the least you can do is try and call first before concluding that the system is not working. It's as simple as that.

I went to hospital wen I was still in school, shivering...met one young doctor for diagnosis. D idiot told me dt it was only malaria, that I should should stop shivering as if I was abt passing out. He regretted his foolishness dt day. D annoying part was dt he had not done d diagnosis...jst assumed it was malaria

Funny story, but say the truth, what was the final diagnosis after the tests? My guess is, probably malaria. The thing is, a doctor doesn't always have to conduct investigations (tests) in order to arrive at a diagnosis. And from the way you said he talked to you, he could have just been joking with you to ease your discomfort.

Your Brain is working well.... These professionals have official line, you might call for two weeks and his/her secretary will keep on posting you.
They declared the allegation false without proper investigation.
For me... If you experience anything bad somewhere post it on social media so that it won't repeat itself.

Deny anything and everything! that is Health workers motto in Nigeria!
