peeparty:ECA: Complete an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) through one of the designated agencies. Applicants who were educated outside of Canada should have their certificates assessed in order to ensure that their foreign education is equivalent to a similar Canadian education. The assessment is NOT mandatory if: • The applicant is applying under the Federal Skilled Trade Program. • The applicant is applying under the Canadian Experience Class. You can use any of WES, IQAS, MCC(Medical doctors), PEBC(pharmacist). Please visit page 0 to read and understand better. Thanks 2 Likes 1 Share |

clock89: Starting July 31, 2018, you will need to give your fingerprints and photos (biometrics) when you apply for a visitor visa, study or work permit, or permanent residence if you are from Europe, the Middle East or Africa. As stated on CIC page, you would need to give biometrics "when you apply", not "if you applied". so, that should mean for new applications only. 2 Likes |

Hello there, Greetings to everyone here. I must commend you all for a wonderful job here in the assistance of each other towards achievement of this Goals. I have been in the train since 2015. I have the following, ECA (Bachelor Degree 4 years), IELTS - LWRSA, 8,7,6.5,7,7, NOC is 0711 - Construction Manager. I have used the online tool to check my eligibility which was specified to be Okay to apply. But getting into the pool has been my problem. Whenever I finish submitting a profile I am immediately greeted with the message you are no longer eligible to apply. Please someone should assist me. Thanks. I just need to be in the pool to have a Job seeker code and also an Express entry ID. Thanks in anticipation and God bless. clock89: |

oikotas44: Several factors could be affecting your eligibility. First is your IELTS score, you need to have at least 8,7,7,7 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and writing to achieve maximum scores on the CRS calculator. Your age is another factor, do you have any other degrees/certificates apart from your bachelors? Because you need to accumulate more points from each section of the CRS simulator so that you can meet the cut off mark for ITA |

Thanks for your time and response. Does it mean one cannot get into the pool at least with the details I have? I am not considering getting an ITA what I just need is to submit a profile so I can get an express entry ID and a Job Seeker code. After submitting the profile I was not even given a CRS SCore but was just told I am no longer eligible to apply. I did my assessment and had a CRS of 357. I have been trying to submit a profile but it keeps telling me profile ineligible at the end. does it mean 357 cannot get accepted into the pool at least even if they are not selected into the pool? Thanks in anticipation Jennypharb1: |

We recently got PPR yesterday and I felt I should write out our journey. This might inspire someone. The journey started as far back July 2015. I did my wes then and it came out early September then I got a fantastic job offer with a lovely pay and decided to chill. Fast forward 2017 Jan, my younger brother got ITA, I guessed that's what we needed for a wake-up call. Then we started again. We registered for IELTS that May 2017 and the result was Mine L7.5 R7 W6.5 S7.5 Wifey L7 R 6.0 W7.5 S8 Then we started IELTS journey 2nd attempt Mine L7.5 R6.5 W6.5 S7.5 Wifey 7.5 R 6.5 W7.5 S8 At this point we realize that wifey should be the principal applicant, she is younger and has Masters. So we tried IELTS again for her(God bless her) 3rd attempt Wifey L8 R 6.5 W7.5 S7.5 4th attempt L7.5 R8 W7.5 S7 Wifey L8 R6.5 W7 S8 Can't remember the scores for other attempts. But April 21, 2018, a year after we had started the journey, she had her 9th attempt and she came out with L8 R8 W7 S8 and that was the turning point. We immediately entered the pool and had a score of 452 then two days later was her birthday and we dropped to 447, well we prayed for a good ITA score and God answered. ITA for that week was 442. And the rest was story. Here is the timeline after AOR AOR May 7 MP/ Ip1 May 16 Ip2 July 14 PPR July 18 No ADR at all. Everything just went smooth. I hope this will inspire a friend here. Stay blessed. 79 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello All, Sorry for this long post. I am willing to check any post with this info so directions are welcome I recently got ITA and I am on the brink of uploading my documents but I am getting different feedback which I know this platform will clarify. I have attached a screen shot of the documents I need to submote but I will appreciate if someone could clarify. 1. When it says upload passport bio data page with pages with stamps, some say upload all you passport pages. Which is which cos I do not want wahala o 2. When it says police certificate, should I just upload the pink certificate or all the sheets(including the sheet with my thumbprint)? 3. For Marriage certificate, should I also add pictures cos some people say I should...Which way biko? 4. For education, some say add wes, ielts, university certificates, transcripts. Please clarify 5. For employment records, some say I should add payslips, employment letter, reference letter...Please clarify 6. For proof of funds, some say I should add all my bank statements (either money dey or not)...Please assist The reason I need directions is because; the requirements are clear but some say you should add as much info as possible to clear the immigration officers doubts. Please help o. This is a critical stage o. Thanks @Newmum/Others, Please does the JD in the second screenshot pass for NOC 2282? Thanks in advance
