I submitted my application on the 29th of June, 2018 and had my interview yesterday. An hour later, an offer mail dropped.

The interview questions were basically about my motivation for the course and why I chose the school. Most importantly, it is to check your fluency in the languishers of instruction for the programme.

I just apply on the 12th making one week today, lemme chill small waiting for their email before contacting them but there was a guy that was offered admission here that doesn't do any interview at all. is the interview for everyone or selected few people.

The interview depends on the programme. Did u apply for History and Economics?

Had my interview yesterday 18.07.2018

I started trying from 2017..have applied to a total of 19 schools (that I can remember) the whole 9 rejected me last year. Totally I’ve got 13 rejections and 2 admissions. Finally interviewed.

Got to the embassy by 5am tops, escaped accident..(my cab man was sleeping on the steering) long story shaa..thank God for life.

Interview took 35 to 40 mins.

Got to the embassy... paulinus called us to arrange the docs.. truth is once you have whole documents arranged according to the checklist..it would be way easier for you to sort it out when paulinus calls for the arrangement.

We went in and sat down.. I was the first to go in..after biometrics
The young black lady started...

Have you funded?

Masters or bsc?

What’s your intended course?

Which school did you do your bsc in?

What was you thesis topic

Why this course?

Why Germany?

Why not Uk or US?

Why not Nigeria?

Have you been to Germany?

France or Italy?

Have you been denied visa before?

Are you married?

Tell me what you know about Germany?

What are the bordering countries, list them?

(I talked about Germany and got to the politics...)

Wait..who is the president?

When did he come into office?

Who is the chancellor?

When did she come into office?

Who is your sponsor?

What do you intend to do when you are back?

You can hang the phone now and thank you.

All in all it’s not rocket science...once you read the necessary things you will be fine.

Never say never.

The earlier the better. I sent my blocking details to the embassy barely a month after my interview and I got my AM 3 days later.

Please guys who already got their visa approved. How long does it take the embassy to send you back your passport and other documents through your prepaid envelop. And is there a way one can track the courier delivery of the document.
PS: I used DHL prepaid envelop

UK has never been a schengen country na European union them dey so if you are asked have you been rejected visa before the answer is yes .am not sure if they call specific name but if they do tell them.no and answer the one that has rejected you before simple no problem with that

The admission committee sent an official acceptance letter to me, upon request. The letter contain my name, address, enrolment deadline and other relevant details. It was duly signed by the Chair of the Department.

I used it together with other relevant documents to book appointment, whilst I awaits the official letter from the Student Department. I hope to get feedback from the Embassy in due time.
