In the previous note on 'Bones of the upper limb',humerus was said to be the bone of the arm region. Some school of thought term it 'funny bone'(well, maybe as a play on the word 'humorous')because of the ULNAR NERVE SHOCK...but in actual sense, funny bone is NOT funny and it isn't a Bone.

The Nairaland Medics Thread is a phenomenon. I cannot tell all the testimonies from this association. I cannot count the number of people who eventually studied Medicine because we demystified the experience. I get emails upon emails to that effect. I cannot count the number of people who appreciate the ageless mentorship we provided for medical education. I'm happy within the short time I was active, I was able to motivate, inspire and counsel.

What makes me happy the most, is that you are all succeeding. I'm happy. I'm proud. I want us to take the world from this community and I see that happening very soon.

I see globally renowned surgeons, ministers of health, and presidents from that community. I see AmbFitSaint, the OAU guy, becoming a Nobel Laureate . They are not ready.

this depends on the lecturers in your school and which you understand better. You can get soft copies of both first.

donpre.. sorry

just seeing this..

as far as uniport anatomy lecturer are concerned.
, the likes of Dr Paul and Dr Okoh are the main anatomy lecturers..

they give u last anatomy back to back..
its like an error that u dont have last anatomy..

then

get one Indian series
e.g charausia or vinshram signh(not indebirgh singn o) for quick review arrangements wen the things wanna be getting somehow rough some days to exams..

attend class nd copy note..

Physiology.. ur sembulingam and guyton is enough but u ll need ganong(soft copy is OK) for ur CVS and neurophysiology in 2nd semester..

BCH... any of the good books u like..(chatterjea, vasudevan, harpers) u ll b fine...

form a reading group of 4 . make sure there is a female among the 4.. Females are life savers in forming note. u photocopy..grin

guess what
( I av two cousin in ur class... Tolu and Eben kenny)
cheesy

Good morning, please I am bothered about something, the name on my friend's birth certificate reads Digba Uche Kalu John, and on all of his other credentials like degree, results and the rest simply reads Digba Uche Kalu, please is there a cause for concern during job interviews and the likes? Please we are seriously bothered, please someone should answer
Your friend should try getting a new birth certificate. If it's not possible for him, then, he should get a court affidavit swearing that the two names refer to the same person. With that, the case is settled.

However, let him, first of all, try getting a new birth certificate that'll tarry with his other documents.

pls what is the mark that I should set as a goal for jamb for medicine and surgery.
It's normally advisable to score nothing less than 300. However, many students score as high as that these days. So, target nothing less than 320 to be on a safer side.
