I've stayed in the two cities.two years each.Aba is more developed than Onitsha with a large urban land mass may be due to its proximity to Portharcourt. Also as the largest SME concentration in Nigeria.Aba is building an economic industrial city with a free trade zone along the boundary between Rivers and Abia state. 3 Likes |

omadeltason: We don't want GREEN-WHITE-GREEN on our houses in Anambra. It is equally more ugly combination than White and Brown or WHite and Grey. Off-White with Grey or Light brown/ brick red combination is often what they use in USA or Europe for outside of buildings. Let those stealing Nigerian money in Abuja paint their houses GREEN-WHITE-GREEN. Afterall, they were all built with stolen public funds. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Stnomso: Mediocre projects are all over Anambra but we have no choice than to appreciate the projects. When you tell them the truth, they will say you are an Afonja or you are from Abia or Imo. All the streets constructed by Obiano have open gutters without space for planting trees and flowers that is why the state is always looking like a prison and very dirty. If you go to Anambra, you may be disappointed with what you will see. Onitsha and Awka are very far from uniqueness and beauty except you what to view their aerial views from the top of a house or bridge. This is the main reason why Anambra can never be more beautiful than Enugu and Imo and I won't be surprised if Onitsha is listed as the dirtiest city in the world for the second time because of its dirty and poisonous air. I was also shocked when Demographia Urban did not even recognize Awka as one of the 28 major urban cities in Nigeria. 1 Like |

I still don't know why you have refused to stay in your imo state thread. We all know that Owerri is very ugly with bad roads and filth everywhere. Focus on your backward pillaged and worthless Imo state and leave this thread alone. Onitsha and Awka are way ahead of Owerri in every indices of development and advancement. Owerri is a very filthy town filled with bad roads but it does not bother you, all you do is camp here everyday enviously while your own Imo state is rotting away. The only place Owerri can compete with in Anambra is Nnewi and Ekwulobia. See the new face of owerri below, we are not deceived by your propaganda. [s] nnamdijonathan:[/s] 2 Likes

TundeBricklayer: You continue to prove me right with these your pictures. Only aerial views of Anambra are moderately commendable but when you move from street to street, you will be very disappointed at the ugliness of the environment. If you doubt me, you can ask investnow to upload pictures of streets of Onitsha that he posted after the okada ban for you to see how Anambra streets look, very ugly and dusty. |

bestview: so if Onitsha and Awka are more beautiful than Owerri, that is now Anambra's achievement? You guys should stop deceiving yourselves abeg. Even with all the overhyping of Anambra, Enugu and Abia generated more IGR than Anambra last year, Onitsha is the current dirtiest city on earth, Awka is not even recognized as a city globally and same goes for Nnewi, there is no plan for combating global warming in Anambra through planting of trees, Anambra is not the leading stare in hospitality, tourism and real estate in the east talkless of Nigeria as Enugu and Imo are the current leaders in those sectors in the east. I want you guys to watch the drone video of Onitsha which was recorded by IPOB during the Anambra election last year for you to see how unattractive Anambra looks. Now compare that drone video to those of Owerri and Enugu, you will see that Enugu ( independence layout ) and Owerri are 10x the most attractive cities in the east with beautiful landscape and estates. Please I don't want you guys to attack me for this post, I only wanted to state and outline the errors in Anambra because I have noticed that you guys prefer to state the problems of Ibadan, Aba, Owerri, Abeokuta etc without mentioning those of Anambra as if Anambra is 100% excellent. 1 Like |

I am from Imo state and I will not lie to you. Owerri is a mess. All the roads in owerri are terribly bad with filth all over the place. I traveled to my state recently and I was spitting all through. All the hyping you are doing in imo thread does not cover anything. imo state generally is very ugly filled with bad roads, unemployment, armed robbery, prostitution. Awka, Onitsha are far better than owerri in all areas. Let us say the truth once and for once because it does not kill. Owerri is among the dirtiest cities in the world. The drone video of owerri shows a dilapidated town with filth, bad roads, disorganization. Imo state generally unattractive that is why no one has bothered to invest in the cesspit. nnamdijonathan: |
