Nigerian striker Peter Olayinka has ended speculation about his future after penning a four-year contract with SK Slavia Prague, the Czech First League club announced via their official website on Saturday.

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Gent will pocket approximately 3.5 million euros plus bonuses for agreeing to terminate their agreement with Olayinka before its expiration.

Olayinka is returning to the Czech Republic capital after a previous stint with Dukla Prague, for whom he scored 7 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions.

Commenting on the transfer, Olayinka stated : ''I was very happy, when I learned about going to Slavia and returning to Prague, I was happy and it attracts me because Slavia is the top of Czech football.

''When I was in Dukla, Slavia became the champion of the league. I can imagine that Slavia will once again be a champion and I want to be like that. It's a great chance for me. Slavia is a club where I can become a champion.''

Olayinka began his career with 36 Lion before moving to Bylis Ballsh in Albania, and also counts Yenicami SK and Skënderbeu amongst his former employers.

For the upcoming season, he will play with the number nine jersey at Slavia Prague.

The deal taking Olayinka to Slavia Prague was brokered by respected French agent Cedric Mazet.
Useless agent. Very bad move from Olayinka.
More excuse for Rohr not to look at him

Goals For Isaac Success, Josh Maja, Ify Ofoegbu & Okenabirhie In Pre-Season GamesCatch up on the Nigerian players who found the back of the net for their respective European clubs in pre-season games on Saturday 21st July.

At the Montgomery Waters Meadow, Shrewsbury Town new signing, Fejiri Okenabirhie was yet again on the score-sheet for The Blues in a 3-2 loss to Brentford.

The former Arsenal youth teamer made the most of a lofted pass into the area to smash home his chance in the top left corner of the goal, bringing the score to 1-1 after they had initially fell behind.

Elsewhere, 18-year old right-back, Ifeanyi Ofoegbu got among the goals for Chesterfield in their 5-0 rout of Nuneaton at the Liberty Way Stadium.

The defender who was picked out in the box by teammate, Joe Rowley with 15 minutes left finished with aplomb, rattling into the roof of the net to make it 4-0.

In another pre-season encounter, goals from Super Eagles striker, Isaac Success, Troy Deeney and Jerome Sinclair gave Premier League side, Watford a 3-1 victory over German club, Fortuna Düsseldorf in Bürgerau.

The Nigerian tapped home the opener for The Hornets after getting onto the end of an Andre Gray's pass at the far post.

And finally, Joshua Maja netted a brace for Sunderland in a 6-0 rout of Scottish opponents, St Mirren at Paisley.

The teenager opened the scoring after 22 minutes, sending a well-cushioned finish in thanks to a pass from Chris Maguire before leaving Mirren goalkeeper, Craig Samson rooted to the spot when he arrowed in a 22-yard effort for his second.

Poor run of form for Isaac Success is one of the reasons we went to Russia without a striker.

That boy should be tearing nets by now.

i honestly did not expect our players to move. They have barely established themselves in their clubs, some have had good seasons that deserve a second shot, why destabilize themselves to make big money moves that will eventually cause their careers to deteriorate? I would rather our players sit tight in their clubs than gallivanting Europe in the name of big money moves.

You dey mind them ? I like your question in your previous post

How many African players made a big money move ?

Apart from mahrez,if ndidi is to leave leichester he will go for nothing less than 50m.

Heard we're in for Draxler. Dumb move considering there's Lacazette and Aubamayeng to fit in the starting 11.
Should be looking to sign a better CB. Club is driving me nuts I tell you

The club is going all silicon Valley. I heard they signed a candy crush engineer. Lol
But seriously, you guys could be in for an interesting ride this season especially with the back room hires. Almost world class set up if you ask me.
By the way what do you think of Richarlson's transfer to Everton? I heard Everton paid £50M for him. Watford must be laughing all the way to the bank.. Lol

It's a shame no Nigerian player will make a $20M move this transfer window.
We simply don't have the materials at this moment. The fans must wake up and smell the coffee.
We are painfully below average.

Lazio is rumored to be interested in Iwobi for 20-25 Million Euros..

Funny thing is Gazidis is linked with a move to Milan and according to rumors is seriously considering it.
It'd be crazy if after waiting for Wenger to leave and making all these changes that he'd leave all that.
Everton are just spunking out money foolishly..they would've gotten Guedes for that amount. Heard they're linked with a 22m move for Digne.
They need a proper director of football

Lol.. They made a bunkers decision sacking Steve Walsh who was the DOF at Leicester city when they won the league. The Dutch guy they hired is totally out of his depth. £50M for Richarlson? Lol

Sentiments don commot. So you dey vex for national cap? The boy didn't invite himself na.

Grammar won't save you from being completely off base in this argument. We should use a full season that a player was injured to judge the player? That is utterly ridiculous, forget what football says this is common sense if a player is injured for a full season then that season doesn't count.

If you call Wolfsburg lowly then what was burnley last season? How many U21 players did you see get 1 minute in the bottom half of the premier table? You are turning a blind eye on reality just to attack this boy maybe to suggest a league one player in his place.

The measurement you are talking about has worked just fine for other Nigerian players going into Europe. You told me no 29 year old would be on a bench and I gave you players within that age range that control the bench so what's the problem? I can also find at least one U21 player in each team that are waiting on their chance.

You want to create a set of parameters to measure a player individually, that's BIAS.

Your injury record and recovery is part of your assessment. If you are injured for a whole season that works very negatively against you. You could be termed injury prone. Injury is part of football unfortunately.

You are so hell bent on justifying the unjustifiable. Victor was not injured for the whole season. Just the beginning and but was still not considered good enough. From December 2016 he was considered injury free, so effectively he was available for the larger part of the season. But only played 2 games of not more than 30 minutes for the 2016/17 season.

So in your quest to misrepresent you state the the bold he was injured all season. Do you agree that is totally UNTRUE.

My position on your comparison of 29 year old players I have made intrinsically clear. So you are being untruthful and misrepresenting me.

If you are 21 not playing in the first team you should be on loan. However, if you are not you growing dust and irrelevant. Essentially you are in regression. So because other boys have decided to fail in thier clubs, in the name of waiting for thier chance, until they rot, then he Victor should do the same. That's very bad advice. I'm sorry bro. .

Do you not find it ludicrous that the NFF then invited a youth player to the SE over and above far more deserving players.

I no talk again, I leave you to your opinion anchored on favoritism, bias, double standard and sentiment.

Highly rated Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen will begin trials with Belgium side Zulte-Waregem in view of securing a deal to join them on loan from German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.

Already Zulte-Waregem have secured an agreement with Wolfsburg to have him on a season long loan with the option to buy him permanently next summer, if he impresses during his trial period.

He is expected to spend one week at the club according to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com editorial team and a decision is expected to be made on or after the specified period.

Osimhen will take part in test games and also training drills while at the club as he bid to bring an unhappy two year spell at Wolfsburg to an end, no thanks to the unstable managerial situation of the club.

Since joining Wolfsburg, the 20 year old has worked under six coaches with Wolfsburg struggling to beat the drop to the second division in the seasons he has been at the club following his exploits for Nigeria at the World Youth Championship in 2015.

I am making a comment because I have gone into long talk with BascoVanVeli about Victor.

Belguim league is rated almost on par with the Turkish league by UEFA. He should be going on loan to the Bundesliga 2, then fight his way up. Indeed if he was rated thier should be clubs in a queue waiting to get him on loan.

I have never seen where a highly rated striker goes on trial. Who is rating him as highly rated. Then to the Belgium league from Bundesliga. Do I need to say anything more. About this highly rated tag.

Now if u wanna know why other West African leagues have been exporting quality players to Europe compared to the NPFL, watch this match btwn Enyimba and Williamsville of ivory coast. 90percent of the Ivorians look under 20 while almost all the Enyimba players look way beyond their 30s bar Ikouwem Utin Udoh . This match is a match btwn old men and teens. These Williamsville players look like Academy players, they even look younger than Paul Aigbogun's under 20 boys.

Put this in perspective, a country of less than 50 million to a country if about 170 million. That's almost four times it size. We do have a larger number of young players in Europe equally

Worst still they took the game to a poor quality Agege pitch that got flooded.

The same flooded pitch condition that the Amuneke's "academy" Flying Eagles found themselves in, same stage last qualifiers. But thank God Paul's boys are already used to playing rain ball on our NPFL pitches. Hahaha... grin

By the way, Amunike's team lost in Teslim Balogun stadium and not Agege Stadium. Secondly, I am all for our teams developing playing a good brand of football that see the players turn out as quality players than kick and rush football that will not generate a nice pool of quality players.

Stat on Richarlison.

Crucially, his work rate is comparable to Firmino’s: of forwards to play regularly (15+ games) in the Premier League this season, only him (2.1) and Swansea’s Jordan Ayew (2.5) have averaged more successful tackles per 90 minutes than Richarlison (two)

This is a great stat. He defends from the front, that's why he worth every penny. Jordan Ayew should be worth £80 at least.

That is just a quality attribute of Richarlison, not the only attribute that worths his value. Keep in mind, Richarlison is also one of the most hardworking players in the EPL. Covers a large distance during play, contributes offensively and defensively. He is good on the ball, skillful and has an eye to give a good pass. He is also a good crosser. A little polishing on his finishing and Everton will have a top quality player. He was one of the players I enjoyed watching last season.

This clip gives a hint of Richarlison's quality.

I think it is time we should stop rating our player based on their under age national teams exploit especially if they are not moving as expected in their careers.

I remember telling who care to listen that Osimhen must go on loan or else he goes Christanaus Macaulay way but really surprised to see comparison between him and Origi meaning we are not facing the realty in assessing our players.

Honestly am disappointed hearing that Osimhen must go on trial to secure a loan move and player like Awoniyi has four clubs trying to get him on loan. Also Oyekwuru moved to Galatasaray with good pay as a loan player.

It's time for our players especially youth players to consider their development than just sign for any clubs

Iwobi is better on the ball, better vision and technique, no doubt. Richarlison does not fall far behind in respect of these. He is also good on the ball, has a nice vision and good technique too. But, trumps Iwobi hands down in hardwork on and off the pitch. Richarlison is a very disciplined player. Trains hard and takes his preparation seriously. He is also in perfect shape with a goal of becoming a top player.

Certainly a far better player than Iwobi.

I wish our youngsters can learn from Richarlison.
