Lol But seriously, you guys could be in for an interesting ride this season especially with the back room hires. Almost world class set up if you ask me. By the way what do you think of Richarlson's transfer to Everton? I heard Everton paid £50M for him. Watford must be laughing all the way to the bank.. Lol |

goldfish80:Funny thing is Gazidis is linked with a move to Milan and according to rumors is seriously considering it. It'd be crazy if after waiting for Wenger to leave and making all these changes that he'd leave all that. Everton are just spunking out money foolishly..they would've gotten Guedes for that amount. Heard they're linked with a 22m move for Digne. They need a proper director of football |

goldfish80:Last season was even worse. I think this TV money is making clubs go crazy. Funny enough - it's crazy how Iwobi is only being rated at 20 - 25m. I remember having an argument with someone (BascoVanVeli I think) who said Iwobi wouldn't leave for less than 50m. Iwobi > Richarlison any day of the week for me |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 12:30am On Jul 22, 2018 |
BascoVanVeli: You want to create a set of parameters to measure a player individually, that's BIAS. Your injury record and recovery is part of your assessment. If you are injured for a whole season that works very negatively against you. You could be termed injury prone. Injury is part of football unfortunately. You are so hell bent on justifying the unjustifiable. Victor was not injured for the whole season. Just the beginning and but was still not considered good enough. From December 2016 he was considered injury free, so effectively he was available for the larger part of the season. But only played 2 games of not more than 30 minutes for the 2016/17 season. So in your quest to misrepresent you state the the bold he was injured all season. Do you agree that is totally UNTRUE. My position on your comparison of 29 year old players I have made intrinsically clear. So you are being untruthful and misrepresenting me. If you are 21 not playing in the first team you should be on loan. However, if you are not you growing dust and irrelevant. Essentially you are in regression. So because other boys have decided to fail in thier clubs, in the name of waiting for thier chance, until they rot, then he Victor should do the same. That's very bad advice. I'm sorry bro. . Do you not find it ludicrous that the NFF then invited a youth player to the SE over and above far more deserving players. ❓ ❓ ❓ I no talk again, I leave you to your opinion anchored on favoritism, bias, double standard and sentiment. |

charlesemeka85: I am making a comment because I have gone into long talk with BascoVanVeli about Victor. Belguim league is rated almost on par with the Turkish league by UEFA. He should be going on loan to the Bundesliga 2, then fight his way up. Indeed if he was rated thier should be clubs in a queue waiting to get him on loan. I have never seen where a highly rated striker goes on trial. Who is rating him as highly rated. Then to the Belgium league from Bundesliga. Do I need to say anything more. About this highly rated tag. ❓ 1 Like |

Icon4s: By the way, Amunike's team lost in Teslim Balogun stadium and not Agege Stadium. Secondly, I am all for our teams developing playing a good brand of football that see the players turn out as quality players than kick and rush football that will not generate a nice pool of quality players. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 7:02am On Jul 22, 2018 |
Stat on Richarlison. Crucially, his work rate is comparable to Firmino’s: of forwards to play regularly (15+ games) in the Premier League this season, only him (2.1) and Swansea’s Jordan Ayew (2.5) have averaged more successful tackles per 90 minutes than Richarlison (two) |

TheGoodJoe:This is a great stat. He defends from the front, that's why he worth every penny. Jordan Ayew should be worth £80 at least. |

goldfish80: That is just a quality attribute of Richarlison, not the only attribute that worths his value. Keep in mind, Richarlison is also one of the most hardworking players in the EPL. Covers a large distance during play, contributes offensively and defensively. He is good on the ball, skillful and has an eye to give a good pass. He is also a good crosser. A little polishing on his finishing and Everton will have a top quality player. He was one of the players I enjoyed watching last season. This clip gives a hint of Richarlison's quality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZMYYNYJwD8 |

komekn:I think it is time we should stop rating our player based on their under age national teams exploit especially if they are not moving as expected in their careers. I remember telling who care to listen that Osimhen must go on loan or else he goes Christanaus Macaulay way but really surprised to see comparison between him and Origi meaning we are not facing the realty in assessing our players. Honestly am disappointed hearing that Osimhen must go on trial to secure a loan move and player like Awoniyi has four clubs trying to get him on loan. Also Oyekwuru moved to Galatasaray with good pay as a loan player. It's time for our players especially youth players to consider their development than just sign for any clubs 1 Like |

edi287: Iwobi is better on the ball, better vision and technique, no doubt. Richarlison does not fall far behind in respect of these. He is also good on the ball, has a nice vision and good technique too. But, trumps Iwobi hands down in hardwork on and off the pitch. Richarlison is a very disciplined player. Trains hard and takes his preparation seriously. He is also in perfect shape with a goal of becoming a top player. Certainly a far better player than Iwobi. I wish our youngsters can learn from Richarlison. 1 Like |
