How long has it been like this? Have you tried clearing browser cache and cookies? I'm currently using chrome browser and I'm not having such issues.

This is the first time I am seeing this, I have managed it for 3 hours believing it is a sign of bulls...

Sell your stocks and repurchase by March-April next year. Period.

Don't hold onto things that are declining. The fears about the election are going to be overblown. Good stocks will decline.

Sell now and buy just before elections. The market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent.

The FPIs are gradually unwinding their positions. They have to do so gradually of course because of their big holdings. Very soon the you'll see the impact of their actions on the exchange rate.

Don't be a bagholder. Don't hold the bag for them.

Instead strive to be a carpet bagger.

For those that'll survive the upcoming carnage with their liver and capital, elections will be peacefuĺ....Naira will be devalued ( free float), fuel subsidy will be removed...All these will point to a 2019/2020 bull.

Well calculated, black market will be on, with more cheaper price during election proper January/ February 2019.

Please, how can someone contact the nairaland moderators?

The chrome browser nairaland page on my device is filled with smileys... it is hard to see the links, so they can correct it.
Congratulations, you have finally made it. That may be a sign that indicates that you will be filled with smile at the end of the year grin

BUHARI, IGP, AND OSHIOMOLE the APC national chairman's behavioral act, are becoming undemocratic.
Their actions are bringing more bear to the market. In fact, undemocratic bear is visiting NSEM.

Some analog traders might had given their mandate before today drama. God power and wisdom is more than undemocratic cabals, and he will use anything he wishes to disappoint and remove them.
After that, our NSE will have fresh bliss, come next year.

It was back in the days that I feared bears Now I just pray for them to come in as election draws in.......Most Good stocks are going to sub #10 like Zenith and Gtbank...... They will bounce back by dec 2019 when Election blues are over...... THE ONLY EXPO THIS FORUM SHOULD BE GIVING AT THIS TIME IS TO LIST ALL STOCKS WITH RESPECT TO THE POLITICAL PARTIES THAT THEY ARE AFFILIATED TO, eg Skye bank was an Extremely PRO PDP stock, after the elections of 2015 ITs price did not recover........One stock I am afraid for is Oando cos I know IF the present Govt fails to retain power all vengance will be unleashed on this stock.......

THIS SENTIMENT ANALYSIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT HAS KEPT ME AFLOAT IN THIS NSE....

Story. Just go and draw the price list of 2014. Pre 2015 elections did not bring in those prices. Zenith for instance did not lose upto 2naira in that year. The real fall came after buhari took over. That was when we saw those real lows. That was also when we saw the naira really fall with crude prices. That was when investors really wanted to bail out because buhari in his "wisdom" did not see any reason to defend the naira.
Prices fell pre election but most stocks did not lose more than 15%. They did nit lose as much as 2015 when loans started going bad.
The reason for the present fall is not just elections. Its more of an investment decision by foreign investors which decision not just affects nigeria, but the entire emerging markets.

Gbam. Well said.

Mcy, you don see your course mate naww. Dey there ooo.

In my own opinion, I don't think the sell-off is any different from the previous years. The only distortion last year was devaluation that was done and market rallied when it usually doesn't.
