Corruption has eaten so deep into the system. People claim to be religious but commit terrible acts of corruption. It is not just the political leadership, it goes down to the lowest strata in society. In fact, the person who tries to do the right thing is seen as an enemy of progress.

People will then go to their places of worship to do thanksgiving for stolen wealth.
Yep. Always said our leaders mostly reflect the masses. These guys just don't fall out of heaven.

1) Firstly, I think it is time to move on without Echiejile.

2) For now, we resume in that position with Idowu and Aina. Idowu in particular was tested by the best of oppositions. I would not say he did excellently well but I would say he was not bad. Seychelles, Libya and SA cannot attack us the way Croatia, Iceland and Argentina did. I know Idowu and Aina have what it takes to hold their own and integrate more with the team.

3) In the modern game players' versatility is key. If you do not have natural left footed players that are up to the mark you have to convert other players with such abilities to play such position. You cannot compromise standards all in the name of looking for a natural left footed player.

4) Going forward, any outstanding left footed player(s) that is/are identified can gradually be introduced into the team. We should not be in a haste to throw out those we have in the position at present. Any incoming Natural Left back should prove to be better (in terms of delivery) than those make-shift Left Backs we have at the moment.

5) Yes the World Cup is over but I still re-iterate that team building is a gradual process. I see people throwing names and different names. Yes that is ok. It means we have so many availanble options but their introduction would be such that it does not terminate the progress of the team and or throw the team off balance.

The team can only get better.
Chief. You dey give me joy.

Funny enough, Komekun and Forgiveness have been shouting about this since. Instead we turn a blind eye to their perspective as it does not fit into ours. As a result we end up with meritocracy over and over again. So the best players might never been given a chance to even improve themselves. Our highest goal scorers in our league will be going for trials in Norway!!!!!

Anas is feared all over Ghana. If he is after you, you are as good as gone.

Even Ghana's president fear him because he is a master in disguising himself. Today he is a man tomorrow he is a girl.

I heard a lot about in through my Ghanaian friend whenever I am in Ghana.

I watched how he caught the Ghanaian FA president on supersports. The guy is good.

I doubt it.. Simon was never a primary target for Klopp.. He was more like a fall back option in case Shaqiri deal fell... Now we have Shaqiri to deputise for Mane and Salah .and with d huge fee spent.on Alisson there are strong indications that Liverpool are not buying anymore players this window .and if they do, its gonna be an attacking midfielder

Simon is seen as a backup for Sadio Mane. There has to be a reason Taiwo would go to Gent when there was a package set up already from Monaco.

When was the last time a Nigerian no 9 scored 15 goals in a season?

We have too many average no 9's

Why is it that we lack midfielders?

Poor development.

What does it take for a Nation like us that claims to be sooo morally righteous to actually follow what they preach?? Millions will go to church to listen to the Pastor preach about loving one another yet are as tribalistic as they come.
I think the only thing religion has done is to curb the animalistic instincts in this country a LITTLE

Well, the truth is we are not a Nation and most of the church goers are not true Christians. Even most of the pastors are chop chop pastors who use religion for selfish reasons.

Like you rightly said religion only tries as must as possible to curb the animalistic instinct in this country a little but it can never eliminate it.

To Christians, religion is not Christianity.

I'm sorry but that's plain nonsense. As long as Ozil didn't come out and state his support for him. Foolish right winged nuts blew this out of proportion. It wasn't that serious
What support can be more than giving the man a jersey with your name at the back, posing for a photo op, all smiles, with a thumbs up during election campaign?
The guy has lost followers and sponsors as a result of his stupidity. He made his bed.

Like I said - it was a charity event for a good cause. I don't think he told Erdogan "hey let's take a pic so we'll piss the German Government off".
It's not like the other contestants at the elections were there and he chose to take a pic with Erdogan instead

Despite the transfer talk speculations linking Ahmed Musa away from Leicester City, the Nigeria international was part of the Premier League side’s squad who left for Austria, where they continue preparation for the 2018/2019 season.

Ahmed Musa, who scored a brace for Nigeria at the World Cup in Russia, has already had a big-money bid rejected by former Premier League champions from a Saudi team.

The flying winger has also been linked with Turkish champions Galatasaray.

He travelled with Leicester City alongside his compatriots Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho.

While in Austria, ‘The Foxes’ will face Turkish side Akhisarspor on a Wednesday and Udinese on Saturday.

Leicester City open their Premier League campaign against Manchester United on Friday 10 August.

Obuh was Paul Aigbogun before Paul Aigbogun. Maybe he'd do a better job with the Chan and Olympics team. Too many overage players on his U20 team

Yup. I will go with either Samson Siasia (if he's willing to understudy Rohr with the goal of taking over after Rohr leaves in 2 years) or Emmanuel Amuneke. I was never a big fan of Yusuf ... I've always felt that he was just wasting a slot that should be given to the future SE coach like Siasia or Amuneke.

God forbid, siasia should go and do something meaningful than hanging around always waiting, praying and hoping that someone should be sacked for him to take over. he should try his luck in a decent club in the local scene or even outside the shores of this country or a national team
