Shameless BULL HEADED coaches demanding bribes and insisting you must sign with thier preferred agent to stay in the SE.

Listen, Siasia really hasn't given a chance, per se. Rather, on those two occasions, you can say that he was brought in at the last minute to salvage a bad situation. First Eguaveon had already put our qualifications in jeopardy before Siasia came into the picture. And the second time around, Oliseh had already got use messed up and then abandoned the job before Siasia was brought in for damage control. I would like to see the NFF given Siasia the job with a clean slate let's see how he fares; not being brought in to clean up somebody else's mess.

and what has he done when was was given the chance to manage the senior national team? oga, age grade football differs from senior team football

Tell me one corrupt individual politician or anyone else of importance that has been convicted of corruption.

Nothing will happen.

The only corrupt politician to go to jail with a sentence reflecting his crimes to some degree is IBORI. And we all know why, justice and is not a meal regularly served here.

Bode George. Hahahaha!

Actually, there are some unlucky ones.

Actually, unlike most of these other names being bandied about, Siasia has actually coached at the local scene - with the Heartland of Owerri ... amongst other teams.

is the nigerian national team coaching jobs only meant for him? he should get involved with the tinkering of clubs in the local league or apply to coach one of the smaller national teams in africa

True. But so was Keshi and even Oliseh. My recommendation would be to give him the job, give him an achievable target, and let him live and "die" by his results.

Yup. I will go with either Samson Siasia (if he's willing to understudy Rohr with the goal of taking over after Rohr leaves in 2 years) or Emmanuel Amuneke. I was never a big fan of Yusuf ... I've always felt that he was just wasting a slot that should be given to the future SE coach like Siasia or Amuneke.

O pari

Sia Sia hmmm let me not talk before I face defamation case for lack of substantive evidence.

The only fact there is that he beat up the poor guy but the reason isn't concrete. I bet sir Alex would have loved to do the same to Ronaldo's agent. Agents are not the most popular people.

Has Amunike come out to deny allegations levied against him?

Siasia is full engrained in the system of corruption. If we want things like this to stop, we have to look outside that system. They are Nigerian coaches trained in the diaspora who you would imagine have different values. Or we should just allow Rohr select his assistants.

Nigerian journalists know the implications and have in great fear all compromised truth for self- preservation.
and you want to blame them for that?

when taking a player on loan, there is no assurance or agreement that the player must be a regular. either he makes it to the first team or he will be recalled by his parent club. awoniyi for now is still unproven judging by he is yet to play or shine in a bigger league. the move to gent will aid his development the more by seeing enough playing time and also playing in the europa league. awoniyi in monaco may not see up to 15 matches before the end of the season. monaco is a very competitive team with good nursery where they tend to elevate good graduates to their main team rather than hoping and nurturing an on loan player who will leave at the end of the season or when the loan dea lis over depending on the duration
forgiveness:

Why will Monaco take him on loan to sit on the bench or demote him to U23 when they will sign agreement with Liverpool?

Out of respect for the dead, let me not go into Keshi's case.

Oliseh gave all his brother's players access to the national team.

We need a fresh head not tainted by corruption.

The video in which Salisu was collecting bribe was in relation to CHAN, was it not?

Please, does anyone have any video of Rohr collect8ng bribe for the World Cup? If your brother is caught stealing, does that make you a thief?

I don't know the narrative some people are now trying to spin that somebody said something and was harassed. The somebody is now here shouting about World Cup selections as if Salisu was caught collecting bribe to field Idowu.

Please, let us not use the sin of one cow to burn an entire herd. Be guided in your words and accusations.

Stop spreading unverified rumours lest you hang yourself with your own rope

You have no idea how Rohr hot his job in the first place.

That's why you can make the assumption you make.

Maybe when you get older or begin to engage with some of these people von higher places in the context of Nigeria.

You will understand the framework of corruption.

Please, let's stop these nonsense! So because Mutiu "worked at 3SC for a bit", we should promote him into the national team set up, eh?
And because "Finidi worked at the youth setup of Betis", that qualifies him to be in pole position for our national team coach, huh?

Some of the craps you read on this forum. Listen, anybody who wants to be in consideration for the national team coach ought to start by proving himself at club level or age grade levels (either U-21 or the Olympics) first; before any aspirations of getting into the full national team set up. The Super Eagles is not where folks should go to test their coaching abilities or lack thereof. We've already tried that with Sunday Oliseh and it was a disaster!

O pari

He has his coaching badges like Finidi and the rest. So what's the issue??
We are talking about someone assisting Rohr - Oya tell us who you'd like to replace Salisu??

I know Sheyi from the day he made his move to Liverpool at 14 years.

He can't play LB.

I have watched Seyi only from Liverpool and he only plays left sided midfield and or Wing.

In those position they also came with disciplined defensive responsibilities. So to say he cannot play LWB is premature.

You're saying coaching at U21 trumps working at club level?? Finidi has worked at the youth setup...same thing as coaching U21.
To say none of them can assist Rohr is crazy sha

Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that Nigerian midfielder Josh Onomah is in his plans for the forthcoming season.

The England U21 star was omitted from Spurs traveling party to the United States on Sunday, which fueled speculation that he was set to be loaned out or sold before the close of the summer transfer window.

However, Pochettino has revealed that Onomah missed their American tour as a result of injury.

Speaking to reporters, Pochettino said : ''I think it’s different personal situations for different players. It’s clear the situation for players like Vincent.

"Josh is part of our plans, he’s injured and doing his recovery with Harry Winks, that’s why he’s not here."

Onomah, who spent last season on loan with Aston Villa, has racked up 32 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur since making his debut in January 2015.

Timothy Eyoma and Luke Amos have traveled with the first team to the United States and are in line to face Roma in San Diego on Wednesday.
