The Chinese government scholarship usually runs from January through March ending, but there are other scholarships by the provincial government or the host university itself. If you are interested, opportunities abound.

You can quote me with any questions you have about this.

I need the information about universities still open please...

I am interested in Masters in Mech Engineering.

If you can clear the house on this things I want to raise I think there will better understanding of the whole process;
1. Documents to legalize
2. Documents to authenticate
3. Documents to notarize
4. Is legalizing and authentication the same because I think if u go to a legal firm or high court that's legalization, ( some call it certified true copy), which will make the document authentic and no need to go to ministry of education unless the needs arises, .........if you go to ministry of education that's authentication. Is both not acceptable at the embassy? Cos my friend that did his legalized his. Has the process changed?
5. I think and stand to be corrected, as informed, the only document that needs to be notarized is the police clearance if the person is a first timer. You can throw more light on this if you have diff view.
6. If you can list those documents according under which falls that will be great! Like-:

Legalize ---
Authenticate ---
Notary -----

I've not been to the embassy before but will be there if my process works out to be good which I believe.
I applied for one year Chinese program after I was unable to get masters CGS scholarship and the process is moving fine. I do believe the embassy here don't deny One year Chinese study visa oooooo. I choose to be positive.
Please help the house @1-6. Thanks a lot beautiful lady

I'll answer the questions that are clear enough.
1. for Bachelors prospects, you only get to notarize and authenticate your police report. Notarization and legalization are one and same, that is done in a high court but authentication is done in the foreign affairs ministry and the chinese Embassy. The only previous certificate owned by the Bachelors prospects is the SSCE and authentication is not done at any ministry for that but you are required to provide a WAEC scratch card to the embassy for them to check the result themselves.

I think you are confusing yourself with notarization and legalizaation.

I hope i have answered your question.

your next step is your visa processing.

you take your docs plus police report to Abuja and continue from there

Thanks. Do you think I should book the flight now or wait to do the visa things first? Because the jw202 and admission letter may arrive late when the flights start going up. I went to wakanow ph but they advised I do the visa first. What do you think? I know the documents will come, I know I will travel to China, so no question of if I don't go again.

Another thing.. Is 250k lagos to beijing cheap? I've not been to China before. Thanks

Where is your school? Lagos to Guangzhou on Egypt Air is around 216k so maybe look at that option. High speed train connects most major cities so you might be able to save money.

When does your school resume?

We shall wait for a guy that is going to embassy tomorrow.
Though the guy went there on Thursday last two weeks and everything was given to him to see

He said for MSC, he didn't see any police clearance and authentication there. The only thing he doesn't have is the statement of sponsorship as he is going through partial scholarship....

That is the report for now

I am also thinking we should not disturb ourselves about those grammars......

Legalization and Notarization can be done by Ministry or notary club or High court.
Authentication will finally be done by the consulate or embassy.....

I am talking of MSC candidate' documents

I stand to be corrected please

1. First, book as early as possible.
2. Plan to leave on weekdays (Monday-Thursday).
3. Use incognito browser.
You can also mail them ahead for more discounts
If you don't use incognito mode, you'll most likely get a high price, most especially if you search for flights frequently.

You should just make a flight reservation because you will be asked for that at the embassy.
As for booking a flight before visa, I think it's not a wise decision.

Flights are expensive this season, it should come down soon. That price is the average cost of a one way ticket to Beijing. You may be lucky to get one for slightly lesser cost but 250k is fair enough.

Tianjin is closer to Beijing than it is to Guangzhou. If he wants to use a high speed train from Guangzhou back to his city, it will cost him nothing less than 700rmb. That's more than 100usd. You see?

And if he decides to use the K train option, he will spend almost 20 hours on his trip and the cost will be around 400-450 rmb which is more than 20k.

So it's better he takes the Beijing option and save himself the stress or find a flight that's way cheaper than 216k.

My friend got a flight for 197k to Guangzhou in May and she landed in Guangzhou, it cost her an extra 520rmb to head north to Liaoning. Excluding the taxi fare, feeding for the 28hrs plus journey grin grin.

The 520rmb was for standing in the train because there was no sit or bed space available cheesy
Well, she was lucky enough to get a bed space after like half of the journey and she had to top up the fare.

Egypt Air Lagos - Guangzhou is #212,000 ($588.15 as of today from their website)

Now the big issue is that Egypt air get in around 3-4:30pm and the last train leaves 7:35pm. Is that enough time for a newbie to clear customs and get to the train station? I doubt it

They are directs flights from Guangzhou to Hangzhou with a China Southern flight leaving at 8:35pm being 700 yuan (Economy with conditions eg Baggage is only 20kg)

Lagos to Beijing - $903 (4/9 Egypt Air - 1 Stop)

Anything cheaper will have multiple stops and local flights within China will likely incure high extra baggage costs....

As I checked online, the distance from Hangzhou airport to zhegiang sci-tech university which is my school is just 30minutes by car. Do I need to take train? Or is it because train is cheaper?

The problem, I think he is trying to be clarified here is that even if he gets it now, by the time he wants to use it for visa application, it would have expired since its only valid for three months.

It could, depending on the school. You can just go to police headquarters in your state to get the certificate or approach any police station around you for help.

.please I want to know if it is required to show the result of text in the foreign physical examination record during visa application as my doctor filled it for me without during all the stated text when I applied for admission in march. Secondary do they check the expiration month on your police clearance during visa application? Thanks as I anticipate speedy response

since u are on scholarship, u dont need statement of account. Your academic records should also include your secondary school testimonial and waec/neco. The court certification is enough. Dont waste your money. Just use same documents u used when processing admission/scholarship.march.

You will need to do another medical record/certificate when u get to China. Some schools dont accept Nigeria medical. So b alert.

GOOD LUCK

I did mine at 4k. You can get yours too at that price.

Also, instead of travelling all the way to Abuja, you can apply for your documents to be transferred from Alagbon to the ministry. I did mine for 6k.
