Start ups are pretty cool sometimes... but some Start ups will want to use you and after y'all have worked tiredlessly in growing it, they start bringing in their friends and family to reap where they didn't sow.

my advice...
learn what you can learn, enrich your knowledge, gather experience after which take a bow, that's if they wanna start politicizing things.

Knowledge and experience coupled with the right buyer, can fetch you your annual pay in less than a day or week.

you are blessed. Worked for a startup b4 NYSC, supposed to b in marketing, i ended up doing all the work, even typing letters, making deliveries etc... nt against startups, bt nt all of them are well organised and they take advantage of their workers.

Op, if what you meant by start - up is working for a one - man business in Nigeria, then forget it. Those benefits doesn't apply in Nigeria. You get those advantage if you're working for a one man tech start up in advanced countries. Working for some one-man start up businesses in Nigeria are nothing more than pure enslavement.
