ariesbull: Funny enough everything you accuse the Niger Delta of happens everywhere in Nigeria even in Lagos except Abuja. So quit stereotyping a whole region cos of a few people and face reality. The average Nigerian is tribal, greedy, corrupt, sentimental and nepotistic and it has nothing to do with any particular tribe. Was it the Niger Delta man that ruined Nigeria? Just mind your fucking business!!!!! |

okwabayi: I don't really see that happening, there must be a major paradigm change in the economic climate of Nigeria for internet behaviour to change Though I know more people who had excuses of expensive data bundles, will utilize this opportunity to keep up with their online business or learning, also depends on accessibility and availability |

UfuomaUN: No the Niger Delta is different...they sit down and shout our oyel , the Igbo wants our oyel and burst pipelines to know if their oil is there and also ask for devo levy and in Bayelsa they just do nothing |

itsme9jaG:Do you stay around the gain areas? If you don't then you're not 'gaining.' I do BTW, but won't sit at a mall for hours because of WiFi. I read the news all over and it's making Nigeria look more like a shitty country instead of Google coming from the angle of business. |

tiwiex: Advertising company should benefit a lot from this and thus see increase in budget and staff strength Courier companies should benefit and thus increase staff strength Online companies such as jumia and konga should also see increase in online orders Music industry should benefit from this and see more downloads Bookstore should see an increase in online sales of books Companies should start experiencing quick turnover of their stocks, cost of inventory should go down, expect more physical orders of raw materials to produce finished goods.. Infact some manufacturing firm would need to employ more staff. Once you have the tool that can identify your customer base with laser like precision, i think closing out all deals or sales is more than 90% guaranteed. my own understanding! |

ariesbull: Oga they're not different! I was born in the south, my mum is from the east, and I've spent 2 years in the west ( Lagos and Ogun states). The trend is everywhere!!!!!!! The one of the Niger Delta trends more cos crude oil is Nigeria's gold! It's only in rural areas in the south with negligible economic activities that are free of harassment |

Mcowubaba:What economic climate? People thirsty for knowledge will find it. A hungry man looking for opportunities to make money will find several. The internet has created a bigger playing field for people to enrich themselves. A job on Fiverr and similar platforms when completed is sure to earn the worker more than five times the Naira equivalent [5 USD in NGN = 1,807 NGN]. Tell me of a better real world motivation. Though I know more people who had excuses of expensive data bundles, will utilize this opportunity to keep up with their online business or learning, also depends on accessibility and availabilityYou're doubting but at the same time mentioning a real world eventuality. I have never seen where access to useful information created lazier individuals. Never. A library is also a source of knowledge but we all know the black man hates literature. |

investnow2013: Read properly, Onitsha is not on the list for free wireless hotspots, it is only on the list for potential street view expansion program. These are the cities for free-Wi-Fi Lagos (of course) Abuja Port Harcourt Ibadan Kaduna. While the following three are to be included in street view with the above listed ones. Benin Onitsha Kano * The rest of Lagos state, meaning Lagos will be 100% 1 Like |
