Medal007:You would have to use google. I do not know of any bridging program for chemist, but a good subsitute would be Power and Process Operators bridging programs. |

Q1 based on what I had read here on nairaland , fish is usually binned by Egypatir officials Q2 I did the booking (after my husband tried first and complained about their network), and it was straightforward at that time. However, at a point when we thought we would need to change our dates,... the network acted up. So one can safely say that their online presence isn't the best [quote author=Otnias post=69742945]@deni83 congrats on your landing and thanks for sharing... may the land favour you. I have some questions: 1. are there some foodstuff that are not acceptable on Egyptair? [color=#770077] 2. how did you book with them, cos we have been trying but their website is not working well? 1 Like |

Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by deni83: 6:19pm On Jul 27, 2018 |
Hi Zeiya Yes the food stuff were inspected (but the Naija way- NOT thoroughly). No meat or milk too allowed from our end. It wasn't inspected in my presence when I went to pick it up 3 days after we landed- I was just asked by customs if it had any meat or milk). I also had to pay a 92CAD charge for bringing them in Zeiya: 1 Like |

I don't have hepatitis B but from the medical point of view, if they requested further tests, then they likely want you to have a liver function test, abdominal ultrasound scan focused on the liver and hepatitis B Virus DNA viral load. You might also need a Gastroenterologists review. These are all in a bid to decide if you are admissible into Canada. They need to know if the hep B is the type that will deplete their resources. coconuthead: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Akingsqueen: Excellent. Thanks for the information. the principal applicant here has always been + but never been ill and never taken any drugs related to HBV. Doing some research to ascertain the different types of HBV. I understand there are active and inactive carriers. |

Shinner2010: Hello Akin, you don't have to use an agent to travel to Canada. Here's what you should do. First, go to this page and read https://www.nairaland.com/4472519/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled Second, to get a *work and tourism visa (both at once) with a bonus of living in Canada permanently* you need to read, register and take the ielts exam. Note that you'd require and 8777 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking respectively. Third, in order for you to be eligible to *work* , evaluate your Nigerian educational credentials with a Canadian assessment body like Wes, Ices, Iqas, etc. The more certificates the better (ie; Ond, Hnd, Pgd, Msc). When you are done with these processes mentioned above, and have read through that link I pasted earlier, you'll be a few steps closer to getting your *all-in-1* visa. Goodluck. 25 Likes |

If you are in Abuja or know someone there, take your application / request letter to FRSC HQ in Wuse Zone 3. A friend submitted for me and he was able to collect within a week. Its free. Saintp: 10 Likes 6 Shares |

Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Akingsqueen: 2:44pm On Jul 28, 2018 |
Yes there are Chronic carriers and all but the moment one has the surface antigen to Hepatitis B Virus, one would need further testing and specialists review. That's the only way one can prove that the virus is not actively replicating and that the individual would neither pose a public health threat for Canadian nor deplete their resources through frequent visits and medications. However, I am aware that they still give PR to people who have Hepatitis B virus infection and even on medication so long as it can be proven that you the individual is under control. coconuthead: |

Dear Edmonton people them, I will be landing in September with my family and we are now actively searching for accommodation. Biko, ejoo, mbok, abeg, if you come across any "To let" sign post (or whatever the equivalent is in Edmonton) hook a sister up. You can PM me. A reasonable 3 bedroom townhome in the Southeast or Southwest area. We really want to avoid Air B and B. Thanks o. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Akingsqueen: Provide more info. Why Edmonton? Why those sections of Edmonton? What's your monthly budget for rent ? How much can you put down for rent when you first land, etc. |

Saintp: Apparently, he has "opened eye" like @koonlay5 noted. Got this man's contact from an acquaintance who processed hers in March 2018. He did not ask for a dime; merely asked her to send 2k for courier and forwarded the letter to her destination. I was so impressed that I felt obligated to share the information here for the benefit of others. In my opinion then, it was cheaper than Ottawa's $50, especially for someone who is still in the country. Maybe you should explore @studyexec's suggestion since the man has decided to go the typical "Naija" way.... |
