Epp me people. Today make it the 10th working days that I went to open stanbic mmf account and up till now am yet to get my login info.
I went to the bank the third day and the guy said there was a mixed up somewhere that it will be resolved few days after. He also gave me this number 012805595 and i called today yet they did not give me a concrete reason why it has not been created that by Monday they should be able to fixed.

Now these are my questions.

What could be the problem?

Is my capital refundable? Should in case the account is not open.

When will the interest start reading since i submitted the necessary documents on 16th of July.

I also had same issue, since last Friday. they were toying with me. I told them I needed a refund. they told me to go to my bank where I did the transaction and recall the funds. I went and did it. still waiting for the money. I have opened an AXA MANSARD acct tho. those stanbic mmf guys for up big time

I have same issues, I did a web transfer on the 18th for new MMF subscription from my account with them , I call and i was told they are working on it, and I asked if they got the money but no answer. If their have problem let them say it.

You have 3 options, you can either fill the form online with a link I will send you or
I send you the form, you print and send back to me with supporting documents or
You can go to any of investment one office

Personally I will recommend you fill the form and scan back to me, it will be faster within 48 hours your account will be created plus log in details to view and monitor your invest.

The choice is yours

Nobody is talking about the Stanbic guaranteed investment, and I observed that its always on green I.e upward movement. I am considering moving my money market funds to guaranteed investment. Any advice please�

TeamLeader, I lodged your complaint and the bank has been trying to call you since morning, you haven't replied my mail, send me your full name, phone number, the branch you made your subscription as soon as possible.

Hiya. i was going to even mention that. GIF is slow but steady and seems to be unaffected by the general dip. I am rebalancing my portfolio to GIF while the dip continues and also plan on investing in the others buying cheap.

When you successfully subscribe for the first time, your login details will be sent to you within 3 to 5 business days..

Which payment method?
If it's via quick teller, it could be network issue, just try again later.

Hello house, is there any other way to subscribe to Stanbic mmf other than using my debit card information. Is there no means of direct transfer of fund into their account for those of us that are not in 9ja and not with our debit card.

We have so many alternatives, if you don't want to use your debit card, you can initiate a direct transfer via Internet or mobile banking...

I don’t remember setting up anything like security question or answer.

You need to answer your security question before you can redeem it online, if you haven't set it up, kindly do it and keep the answer safe.

Hi guys,
The contributions here have been really helpful.

I checked FMAN today for the yields and saw that Investment one Vantage Guaranteed Income Fund VGIF has the highest yield of 14.21%.
However, i haven't seen any information here as regarding this particular investment fund.

Will really like to know the if this 14% is the true yield, what is the characteristics of this fund(long run or short run investment) and any info you think I should know.

The security question is usually set up at the initial point of changing your online login details from default to personal,but since you didn't set it up, you just have to send a mail for that and you will be guided.
