#DeclareZamfaraStateOfEmergency Trends on Twitter

Violence has rocked many parts of Nigeria in the past few years and while many people's attention has been on the Boko Haram insurgency in the north-east and the farmers and herders conflict in central Nigeria, hundreds of people have been killed in Zamfara State.

Last month, President Buhari said that more people have been killed in Zamfara this year than in Benue and Plateau states.

The cause of the conflict is not clear, but some people say that it is a conflict between cattle thieves and cattle herders.

Now some Nigerians are calling on President Buhari to declare a state of emergency in Zamfara in order to stop the fighting.

Why call for declaration of state of emergency in Zamfara state? Is it no longer a simple case of local criminal banditry according to buhari's terrorist govt? The bandits we know are just a group of localized criminals who's main objective is to steal and not KILL. If state of emergency should be declared in Zamfara because of BANDITS, then state of emergency may as well be declared in Lagos state. Lagos has more bandits than Zamfara state. You can't declare state of emergency in a state because of mere criminals. Every state in Nigeria have their own share of bandits.

THE IRONY IS THAT ONLY IN NIGERIA WHERE TERRORIST-MURDERERS WHO GO ABOUT VILLAGE TO VILLAGE KILLING AND WIPING OFF INHABITANTS TERRORIST STYLE ARE CALLED BANDITS.

NOTE; The mere fact that people are now calling for state of emergency in Zamfara shows that the killings currently going on in the state was NEVER about bandits but a case of TERRORIST INVASION.
Nigerians should rather call for the resignation of buhari for lying about the real situation in Zamfara state instead of calling for state of emergency.

Obviously, there are people in the presidency who are benefiting from the killings or who are the sponsors of the killings.
I strongly believe that God shall arise in His time to avenge for the lives of His people wasted so far.

Have they stopped targeting Christians and begun killing themselves. they are yet to see anything. Those areas where it had been bloodily dangerous for Christians before will never see rest.

God, why do i have to share space with unserious people that deserve the leadership they got. Emergency or clamouring for each state to protect themselves through state police. Atolagbe saga that i read about yesterday i guess we are still pretending it didnt happen. Lets continue treating the blister instead of the wound till...knock...knock...on our own door.
