Yes you can pass via self study. ICAN is a cheaper and easier to pass compared to ACCA. ACCA questions are somewhat more comprehensible but tougher to solve( requires that you have understood the concepts involved). ICAN can be more vague with what is required but seems more lenient with marking. But to me, it comes down to the costs.

It is possible to split d exams. D exams prices are fixed.
I don't think there is a way u can reduce d price. D only way to reduce the financial burden is to do all d papers as it is cheaper to write all.

U'll only pay for d number of papers u'r writing. ICAN has made it possible for anyone to choose to write in bit ( u can write 1, 2, etc papers).
The prices of 1, 2, 3, etc papers are fixed. Smb just helped u with last diet's prices up there to have an overview.
