This is only a rough estimate pls largely dependent on Assessing body & Conversion rate. U can just budget the following. U might spend less than or a little more for 1 applicant
Assessment: 300,000
English test: 70,000
Visa:1,000,000
Medicals: 50,000
PCC: 5000
Miscellaneous: 100,000 (rewriting english or processing transcripts, scanning etc

So roughly, less than 1,500,000 if all goes well.

Thanks a lot

Write your CDR as a chemical engineer. I believe you should be able to. There is similarity between petroleum and chemical.

If you write a convincing chemical engineering CDR, you should get a professional engineer.

Okay. How did you arrive at 15 point for Experience. Hope you have also deducted the compulsory 1 year VETASESS removes from total years of experience (that's even assuming they really like you grin).
Yeah a positive assessment from VETASESS is key to the whole process. Try packaging your application with a well detailed job description of an Agricultural consultant. Tips can be gotten from the Anszco code description.
Also attach as much evidence as possible from your employers.

In this case, you are submitting for 2 employers right? Employment letter, Confirmation, Reference letter etc. should be on company letter head please. As Bellong advised, submitting the company's registration & other evidence that it truly exist helps to ascertain the believability of the company since there is no website and also ensure your referees are well prepared to vouch for you in-case of verification.

Do you at least have a payslip/pension document you can submit or even a bank statement that shows inflow from these companies? It helps if some of the documents provided are externally generated e.g. bank statement, pension/tax documents.

If not, still try generating payslips and getting the right stamps/signatures for it.

Hope this helps.
@teewhysafe you r counsel is indeed profound, I have being reading too documentation and presentation is very key

I don't have NYSC payslip hope a bank statement will suffice? the pension thing will be tight cos my 1st job, one: salary poor die, and they gave me by hand and the next thing na mouth e no even reach pocket not to talk of pension, na owe them owe me for like 7 month na em a run com elope with this one, anyways im allegic to negative thinking, im gathering all document i can lay my hands on, when im done i will contact you then we can look at what i have. thank you so much. really grateful

Good job you guys are doing in the house, here. Please,I am having a question concerning the information concerning Partner Skills. Does it mean that all the listed conditions under it must be fulfilled before one can get the 5 points under this category.

From a fellow biochemist, its unfortunate Biochemistry is no longer on the list. It was eligible about 2 years ago for 190 only sponsored by SA but no more. Any occupation you nominate will require at least a qualification in a relevant field or 5years in lieu of experience. Not sure this even applies to all occupations

Thank you so much, have been anxiously waiting for a response.

Okey, now what do you feel I can now apply for?

Having a vast experience in marketing but no academic back up for it, do you think I can apply for a marketing specialist?

Experience in marketing is over 8 years.

Meanwhile I have a company registration which outsource cleaning personnel to banking industry, can this be of help in any way?

Thank you In anticipation

Kudos to all for a good job of helping others out here.

I really can't advise on the best occupation. As for Marketing specialist. Confirm first if its on the list. Then visit the Assessing body. Read up on the requirements/condition for the positive assessment of the occupation. This will advise you of your eligibility. I really do not see how your company registration can help you becos its also not related to Marketing.

Test of English is a requirement. Your assessment wont be complete without it.Please ensure to read the 2018 EA MSA booklet properly and follow all instructions before you submit

Good morning SIRs and MAs.
Please I have few questions and I'll be glad if people with maybe similar experience can make time out from their busy schedule to assist.
I already have my positive assessment with EA (experience wasn't assessed) since March this year, and I'm planning to rewrite my PTE in two week's time.
My questions........
1. Due to present situation of things, I want to apply for both Visa 489 and 189, as I'm currently at 55 points, but hopefully this will rise to 65 and probably 70 with experience. Am I to do this with the same EOI or separate EOIs for both? If separate, should I use my second email to register for the other one? Lastly, Is having more than one EOIs an offence?
You can create separate EOIs for the different visa subclasses you are applying for. It is not an offence.
You can use same email address for all EOIs, no issues.

2. Also, I graduated in 2014, but I have just worked as a professional Engineer since December 2016. However, in my current workplace, I was an engineer intern from June, 2015 before I became a full staff (Only have appointment letter to show for this since I was paid by hand, at times not paid at all self). However, I have every documents for the full time position, more than they can ask for even. My question is, can I get 5 points with this experience?

Key here is to ensure that the employment reference letters you will submit is in line with the Job title on the contract letter you will submit as well. You employment claims are most likely going to come under a lot of scrutiny by DHA at the visa application stage as you did not do relevant skilled employment assessment with EA. Please take what i have just shared with you very seriously

Let me stop here for now. Thanks so much in anticipation of your answers.

As regards your question, go to aims website and follow instructions. It's easy.
You need your academic transcript, degree result, not less than two years work experience in the position with proofs, such as payslips, reference letter from current employment and previous employers, and an assessment fee receipt.

I believe work experience is very important for TRA assessment.

He can assess as an electrical engineering Drafts person with Engineer Australia. He doesn't need experience, he only needs to write a CDR.
You mean experience is not needed for assessment as a Drafts person?Because I don't have experience as a Drafts person but a nice person here advised me to tender assessment as a Drafts person,if that is the case then great!!

Well done sis. Thanks for taking time out of your tight schedules to give back to the community. I've been having issue with certifying some stuffs. Not sure again, but I think I learnt from the first forum that when your documents are in coloured forms no certification is needed. Is this so, or I just misunderstood the info shared then?
Second concern is to all Vetasses successfuls, does Vetasses consider part time works for positive skill assessment?

You are our mama na grin. As long as the documents are coloured and not black & white, you do not need to certify them
VETASESS considers full time only. Its part of the requirements to be shown on the Reference letter

Marketing specialist is eligible for 190 & 489. The caveats only applies if you are applying for Visa 186 (Employer nominated) and 482 visa only.(Temporary skill shortage). I got this from Vetassess: Marketing Specialist (ANZSCO Code 225113).

If the degree is not in a highly relevant field, three years of employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years in a field which is highly relevant to the nominated occupation is required. This is reduced to two years if there is an additional qualification at least at AQF Diploma level in a highly relevant field.

A positive assessment of both qualifications and employment is required for a positive Skills Assessment Outcome.

This means you can nominate Marketing specialist bearing in mind that 3years out of your 8years experience will be deducted in lieu of Qualification.

So read up on the ANSZCO description for Marketing specialist and ensure you have enough supporting evidence from Employer to back up your claims

Hello please gun for Civil Engineering professional and don't pray to be assessed as engineering technologist. It has become very tough to gain Invitation for engineering tech. And I believe its your experience after PGD that will likely be counted for you because of the skill level of the occupation.

Better still, as @Bellong advised, try making your CDR to apply for Draftperson using HND qualifications.

PlanofGod:
Hello @teewhysafe, please, I need help in assessing my realistic chances for skilled immigration to Australia with the following points and profile.

Age: (25 points)
Education: (20 points)(ANZSCO
Code) - 133111 - Construction Project Manager
IELTS: L8.0, S7.5, W7.5, R7.5 (10 points??)/I could put in for PTE to get 20 points if necessary.
Work: 3yrs+ (5 Points)

My main question is that I have a 5yr degree, MSc both in Estate Management, and a PhD in Construction and Project Mgt all earned in Nigeria Universities.

With these qualifications what are my chances for a positive assessment with Vettasses for Construction Project Manager, with a 3yr+ work experience as a Construction Manager with almost identical job description with (ANZSCO Code) - 133111 - Construction Project Manager?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Have you gotten a response to your question?
I think you are a good candidate for construction project manager.
However, Vetassess says
"A highly relevant field of study is Construction Project
Management, which is the study of planning and controlling
building projects (ASCED). General management degrees without
underpinning or related studies in construction/civil engineering
or building would not usually be positively assessed for this
occupation. Qualifications in Architectural Studies with
supporting highly relevant employment will be considered on a
case-bycase basis
."

Question now is whether they will overlook your bsc and give you positive assessment since PHD is in CPM.
Another issue is the courses in your estate management transcript and how relevant it is to CPM.
I'd say go for it. hope for the best.

CPM is available for 190 in Just Northern Territory and Tasmania-Both states and their conditions tire me.
Good news is its available in 4 states for 489-one of which is NSW. Available in two regions in NSW actually.
NSW is more straightforward to apply to.
it is also available on 189-if you are lucky and one year isn't deducted-with 70 points you can be lucky to get ITA for 189.
Long story short, start the process sharply-3 months ago Valuer was available on 190 and you would have gotten ITA with even 55 points.
Option B will be to apply as Valuer.

Good luck.

Hi everyone, thanks for the wonderful job of sharing informations here. Please, I need your advice and suggestions, 1'm 34 yrs old, married with 2 kids, presently a property manager (I own a real estate management business with my wife for nearly 3yrs), my highest educational qualification is Msc (Real Estate Management and Investment 2015). Prior to my Msc, I had a Bachelor degree in Teacher Education/Physics.

Here is my situation, I'm planning to apply for Canadian PR via express entry pool, and thinking of the probability of shooting 2 birds with one stone (Although I prefer Australia because of the weather), but the process and procedure of the Aussie own seems not too straightforward like the Canada, I'll like great people here to use my situation in the first paragraph in advising me. I will be glad to know if my my occupation is listed on Australian skill list?,if yes, how do I go about about the assessment and application?, and any other advice.

I'm asking these questions because of confusing and conflicting information I have read about the Australia stuff. Thanks for your assistance.

With your profile, you are a better candidate with Canada.
However you might be a good candidate for Valuer-but you need really high scores cos although its on 189, you need high points.
Available in Tasmania on 190 and 489 and special conditions in SA.
Its doable but erm..experience point is already low so...
My advice is concentrate on Canada-with high scores in IELTS and your msc, your point should be high enough.
Australia should be Plan B.
Good luck.

Hello, I'm a silent reader. I just want to encourage other people by sharing my PR journey as I have also equally learnt a lot from other people's experinces. My family and I decided to apply for Aussie PR in 2016. In March 2017, due to hubby's IELTS score (L8S7W7R9), he couldn't get up to 60 points to apply for 189. So, we decided to apply for NSW 190 visa, and to our surprise, we received ITA in 2 weeks. Lodged visa on May 10, 2017 and did PCC and Medicals a 16days after following CO contact.

We were very hopeful that we would receive the grant latest September 2017 as the process seemed to be moving fast for us. It wasn't easy waking up everyday checking email with the hope of getting the golden email. It was so emotionally draining. However, instead of the grant, we got a Natural Justice email in October 17, 2017. It was not a happy moment . Apparently, the HR of my husband's company made a mistake with his date of birth while responding to DIBP during employment verification. They gave a wrong year of birth but correct date and month of birth reducing his age by almost 10 years in comparison with his real age. This casted a big shadow on the genuineness of my husband's claimed employment. So, DIBP wanted him to prove that his claimed employment was not phony. They also wanted clarify some other issues with his letter of reference and his pay slip.

We contacted a MARA agent for a way forward as we were confused about what to do. The agent requested for AUD4500, which we couldn't afford at the time. We then decided to respond on our own with God on our side. Thankfully, hubby's HR agreed to rectify the mistake and sent DIBP a mail to that effect. On our own, we came up with and submitted a 64-page response with evidence supporting the genuineness of his employment in November 10, 2017.

In January, 2018 my hubby suggested that we explore Canadian PR since we had not heard from DIBP following submission of NJL response in November. I wrote IELTS in Feb 2018 but verification of my credentials took a while so I entered the pool in April, 2018. Received ITA in May 2018 (at this time, our mind was off Aussie PR as we were trying to gather documents for Canadian PR visa application).
On June 12, we were contacted by Aussie COto redo PCC and Medicals ####HOPE RENEWED.

Morning of July 6, 2018 as I was preparing for work, hubby suddenly screamed "granted". I was startled, then he showed me the golden email.
IED 29th November, 2018. It was like a dream. After 13 months of waiting, we thank God, PR LANDED.
Just to encourage everyone that there is hope after NJL.

Now on to the next phase Have 3 months to pack. Sydney here I come.........

God is indeed great! Plz a cousin of mine has been in great pains due to the NJL she received. Was asked to comment in writing. However she is in the process of fetching supporting docs but confused on what it means to send her response in writing.Does it mean she ll have to type, printout and sign her comment before uploading or what? Secondly, ll she have to also include the previous documents she sent during the visa application alongside the new evidence?
Please I will welcome your suggestion, pls
