Count me in jor. I have never voted in my life, but because of the upliftment i see this buhari government uplifting the lives of the common man and woman, i was inspired to go and register for a voters card which i got, and will by the grace of God vote pmb. I saw how women were suddenly empowered financially through the school feeding program, youths benefiting through npower, market men and women can suddenly get good loans, poor old people are getting something at the end of month. Mehn everybody just seems to be empowered somehow. Now thats government that cares

Nonsense! This is a strategy to buy your votes for the next year's election and you guys are cheaply falling for it. Let him try it with my tribe, we will collect the job, eat their money and still vote for our choice. No political fraudster will buy our votes. Buhari Must Leave Come 2019. You didn’t need to know any Senator, House of Representatives member or powerful politician before you are enlisted.

Let them start paying 100K and above and you will understand that you'll need to know the president himself before you are enlisted. undecided

I have to say that for the first time since birth some 3 decades ago, N-power is the first Government empowerment initiative that I adjudge 100% transparent. I can'tstill believe that can happen in Nigeria in my lifetime. Besides the transparent selection process, stipends are paid directly to beneficiaries' accounts without somebody somewhere pocketing part of the money, devices worth thousands of Naira getting to ordinary people without connection. That is like a taboo in Nigeria. Nigerian youths should shine their eyes and know their real friends and enemy.
Few words are enough for the wise.

Half bread is better than none. Nigeria is the most populous black nation in the world. Side by side with China, China is the most populous country in the world.

Clearly creating jobs for people isn't sustainable due to the volume of people. China encouraged self reliance and in in inventiveness which made the citizens job creators and ultimately employers of labour on their own.

Today Chinese people are all over the world creating jobs and employing people all over the world. The government only gave them the push in the right direction.

Npower is similar to that. Pushing them in the right direction so they can ultimately become inventive and job creators in their own right.

This is how millionaires are made.
Stop typing trash. Nigeria needs a level playing field for all and not some unsustainable N-power sharing scheme.

So just because he is collecting NPOWER stipend the rest over 100 million Nigerians affected negatively by Buharis bad leadership should continue to die and suffer so a thirty year old man can continue to collect free stipend

What rubbish heap did you pull that data out from? grin

And who told you the Npower stipend is free?

The devices are free but not the stipend.

The issue is not about the stipend but the hope that the transparent manner in which the programme was handled signifies. It rekindles a dead hope in the project Nigeria that given the right leadership, Nigeria can actually do something right inspite of our numerous problems.

The stipend is actually a crumb but to many beneficiaries in Nigeria, it is much more than that!

Still pulling out data from the rubbish heap in your backyard I see.

grin

The poverty you most likely are referring to.must be the one we were set up for by 16 years of misrule and mismanagement of our common wealth.

1) Massive looting

2) inability to shore up our foreign reserves

3) Draining the foreign reserve which was supposed to help shelve off what you are complaining about now.

4) Running a mono economy for 16 solid years by being over dependent on oil which its proceeds kept going into a few private pockets while people like you saw nothing useful it was used for.

5) OPEC just released data on all the monies PDP has received from Oil trade in 16 years and it is almost 800 billion dollars that PDP has received with nothing to show for it while PMB has only received about 94 billion dollars.

Comparing all the huge gains PDP experienced in oil prices during their tenure can you show me how that affected you positively within same period.

But with just 94 billion dollars buhari was able to start putting back into our foreign reserves what PDP depleted even with about 9 times what buhari got.

Yet buhari isn owing salaries while PDP still owed salaries even after getting 9 times what Buhari got

Yet even from the meagre 94billoon PMB got he was still able to offset the salary arrears PDP left him with after they had looted your common wealth.

Yet buhari keeps rolling out infrastructure and benefits to the common man.

Ekiti people have long been known to sell all their values for pittance to the available bidder so I am not surprised here
so a job that pays 170% of the minimum wage is pittance? this is the same country where some graduate teach in secondary schools and earn 15,000 naira!!!

a job to engage the youths and pay them fairly for two years is pittance? you need a knock on the head for your foolishness

PMB has done very well.

Even children of hate know that Npower is the most transparent and largest empowerment program in the history of Nigeria.

The selection process was very good if not excellent.

You don't need to know anybody before you are selected.

This is the best scheme ever in Nigeria to alleviate unemployment..

it is not by man know man,it engages you, gives you experience, expands your knowledge and gives you stipends you can build on with or at the least cater for your basic needs instead of involving in crime and all other forms of illicit money making methods...

Even if buhari looses next election, PDP or the next administration will be under pressure to keep it up or improve on it and that will make it a win/win situation for APC
