Good day @bellong and other Ogas in the house. A false information was posted since last year on Nairaland which has someone's name and the person in question is about to apply for visa. Pls my question is how to get such a thread pulled down as there are no evidences whatsoever to back the claims of the person. But this is likely to dent such person's name online unjustly. Kindly advice what steps the person can take. I actually suggested if any moderator can be contacted to help close or ban the thread or better still get any Nairaland admin to help pull the post or thread down totally to avoid Troubles with NJL with this current wahala of DIBP. Pls kindly help anyone who has any lead as how this can be resolved asap. Thanks

This is interesting...

Interesting really. That's why something needs to be done fast to avoid any troubles. I don't know if one reports such a post, how fast it will be treated or sorted. Advice is needed on which appropriate way to get rid of such thing fast enough

Hello please gun for Civil Engineering professional and don't pray to be assessed as engineering technologist. It has become very tough to gain Invitation for engineering tech. And I believe its your experience after PGD that will likely be counted for you because of the skill level of the occupation.

Better still, as @Bellong advised, try making your CDR to apply for Draftperson using HND qualifications.
Thanks alot Dear

Good morning @teewhysafe and @bellong kindly help me reason this matter please and advise appropriately. I am a graduate of mechanical engineering with 10yrs of multinational experience but the issue here is that I have never worked as a mechanical engineer before.

I have 6yrs of experience as safety manager with several proffessional certificate, 4yrs as a project manager which I am still doing till now but no professional certificate.

Both of these job roles are on the occupational list.

I am experienced in both of them but my issue is that they are not the same as what I studied in school.

Which of them would you advise me to assess?

Thank you.

Just go ahead and report the thread.
I don't see any other way around it.

Also, you can gather your evidence against the accusation as a pro-active move should in case things go south

OK, thanks alot for your response. Honestly, the issue is just an issue without a Proof. No one even knows the particular person that posted such a post. But, do you have any idea how long it takes to treat cases of a reported post?

Marketing specialist is eligible for 190 & 489. The caveats only applies if you are applying for Visa 186 (Employer nominated) and 482 visa only.(Temporary skill shortage). I got this from Vetassess: Marketing Specialist (ANZSCO Code 225113).

If the degree is not in a highly relevant field, three years of employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years in a field which is highly relevant to the nominated occupation is required. This is reduced to two years if there is an additional qualification at least at AQF Diploma level in a highly relevant field.

A positive assessment of both qualifications and employment is required for a positive Skills Assessment Outcome.

This means you can nominate Marketing specialist bearing in mind that 3years out of your 8years experience will be deducted in lieu of Qualification.

So read up on the ANSZCO sure ption for Marketing specialist and ensure you have enough supporting evidence from Employer to back up your claims

Awwwwww you're a darling, an angel in human skin.

I will go & read up requirements under ANZSCO.h
I have been finding it tough understanding some things but your explanations had shed a little light on few.

I will get back soon.

Worrying about about how long it will take should be not the first thing

First step is to report the post.

have you done that?

then you escalate to the mods if nothing is being done.

ATM transfer ke?
Yes u might be able to use your card to make online payment but this is dependent on your bank really.
If that doesn't go through contact this website https://www.austransaction (dot)com/ u might be able to have them make the payment for you while u deposit the naira equivalent in their Nigerian account.
Disclaimer: i dont know who owns the site personally oh. Myself and a couple of people here have used them and they came through.
Good luck

Good day house,
I have someone that read Business Administration and works as a Chief Porter in a Polytechnic and is about to submit an application to Vetassess under ANZSC141999 Accommodation and Hospitality Managers nec.

QUESTION: Will Business Administration qualification be accepted by Vetassess considering the requirement on ANZSCO141311 below?

141311 Hotel or Motel Manager (Degree
Level)

A highly relevant field of study would be Hospitality Management,
which is the study of managing the operations of organizations
which provide hospitality services (ASCED).
Tourism/Events Management Studies without relevant subjects in
Hospitality/Hotel Management would not usually be considered
positively for this occupation.
Please note that employment as Restaurant Manager on its own
will not be positively assessed for Hotel or Motel Manager as it
better matches the separately listed occupation of 141111 Café or
Restaurant Manager.
For visa-related requirements including caveats that may apply
for certain occupations, please visit the Department of Home
Affairs website

Your urgent response will be appreciated.

Thank you

Use your debit card ( master or visa). Eco bank exchange rate is around 269/AUD while GTB is 276/AUD. Most ATM cards are either master or visa cards.

Hi Experienced guyz.

Age = 34 point 25 Point
Degree = M.Sc (Computer Science)= 15 Point

English Test == Not yet Taken ==
with 10 in English, I should getting 65 points

So based on my experience, I can go for the following skill set

ICT Customer Support Officer (190, 407, 489 (S/T), TSS (S)) TRA
ICT Support and Test Engineers nec (190, 407, 489 (S/T), TSS (S)) ACS
ICT Support Engineer (190, 407, 489 (S/T), TSS (S)) ACS
ICT Support Technicians nec ( 190, 407, 489 (S/T), TSS (S)) TRA

ACS definitely.
Before you pick an occupation, be sure to check it out and see the ones with more options for state sponsorship.
Also note that If u don’t include experience gained during internship and Nysc-that your 8 years will be reduced - so read the information on Acs website well and see how many years experience they require you to have (by “to have” I mean how many years they will deduct )if you have an MSC.
