If you are not a trader, you shouldn't touch that stock and I doubt if any professional trader will buy at today price.

I have interest in trading chinese markets but dont know how to go about it...if they are really opened to retail foreign investors

The good news I see here is: There's a new FX window where the dollar is only worth 340 against the naira.

1 USD= 6.81 RMB
1 RMB = 50 NGN
combining the two equations above, we have:

1 USD = 6.81*50= 340.5 NGN

By the time the refinery is ready, We'll see sub 300 for the dollar. That's my prayer.

Thanks to God for this. Kudos to Emefiele and his guys.

This is called Proprietary Trading.

You don't need get any broker/dealer licence from SEC/NSE or any agency for that matter. Just open an account with brokers that can give you online access to trade your accounts. Many abound and have been mentioned here several times.

Yes, It is a proprietary trading. Okay. I would try and open a stock brokerage account.

Thank you.

I think he means trading with his own engine, and avoiding brokerage fees.

In my opinion,

A dealing member license should cut it. It should be easier to get than a broker dealer license too.

Uncle Agba, how's you're trap doing? Looks like you'll have to reset it at some higher junctions. FCMB is back to #2.

Thank you for your comment.

Yes, I want to be trading with my own engine in my garage and but not necessarily avoiding brokerage fees.

I have consulted the NSE. They advised I explore one of the two options:

1. Open a stock brokerage account with an existing stockbroker.

2. Apply for a Dealing member licence. Sadly, they are currently not issuing new licenses and further advised I approach existing Dealing Member Firms with an inactive status to buy their licenses.

I have decided to go with option 1.

Thanks again.

At the request of OGG and 2 other Ogas here, I would like to apologize for my acts in the past days. especially to the good fellows here.
Thank u Sir OGG. u are truly an example of a selfless good fellow. pls just continue to be who u are.
While I am who I am, I never use it to intimidate or chastise innocent people. any position attained in life must be seen as a privilege and nothing more. personally I was only angry about the incessant attack by some on others.
But I have now put any bad blood to rest.

Sir OGG & Sir Jacob, Pls I sent u mails. I will appreciate ur advise and guide.
Thanks.

@ Sir Kingtee this ur apology get as e be, but I thank u Sir.
I actually thought u may never agree to apologise.
...I am truly humbled.
Now I respect u even more Sir !!
Life should always be lived this way irrespective of status or anything at all.
...we shall all leave behind us all of life pursuit and possession someday.
@ Sir Agba, Oracle, Mendes, Loco, CP, Mcy and all that Sir King may have offended, he has apologised.
I do not know him that much, but if he could do this with the little I've got to know of him, then he is of a good reputation.
...Pls, all should forgive the other and lets focus on why we are all here !!

Btw, fine analysis from u @ Agba and AwesomeJ on using return on earnings to guage the FV of a coy.
This is what the forum should be more about. ...with harmless and respectful jokes in between.
...for no one knows where they'll meet the other tomorrow.
Many thanks to all those who looked out for me. ...and also those who were against me.
Finally @ Sir Kolaish, Chibuking, Godisfaithful and all those who always mediated and called for peace, I thank u.
Everyone should imbibe the act of been their brother's keeper.
...I just want to see a united and mutually inclusive financial forum where everyone looks out for everyone !!

Financial market follows relativity and is always foreward looking. What is it that you want to achieve with your investing action and what is your timing like? If you do not want necessarily avoid regulatory fees, then simply open an account with a broker and negociate the brokerage.

Reading thru most post here, I must say that am impressed with the recent higher level of focus on financial matters.
...which by the way is the core essence of our been here.
More of that is needed.
But of course there is no harm in been playful in between. ...as long as it is done respectfully and with maturity.

@ Sir Cadillac, Mcy, hyness and all who are aggrieved with each other, PLS ITS TIME TO MOVE FORWARD.

Kudos to all the Analyst in the house.

...Agba, this your TA power is gr8 o. I love the way you look at the higher time frame with Ichimoku. With this, you will hardly take any trade in the market. Following Ichimoku's rule, both Fidelity and Diamond are no go area for now, but I have my reservation about this method

Keep them rolling...

MSCI- NIGERIA MOVEMENT FOR 31 JULY 2018/GENERAL COMMENT

MSCI- Nigeria maintained clean slate on 31 July 2018. However, the fund put some money in bond. This is be a temporary shelter before fund goes out.

Using the fund’s portfolio as a guide, “green” mean buying while “red” is selling.

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source.

N:B

Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who is doubting the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.

I don't take positions based on TA. Just to give me an understanding of the kind of "men-in-black" I am surrounded with. Then again I am looking for only one major position

MY THOUGHT ABOUT THE MARKET
Looking at the daily chart, if the price can rally above the highlighted zone, then a medium term price rise is confirmed, but for now the rally is still short-term.

Long term monthly outlook still suggests price is likely to test the support at 35885 and any fall in price below 34600 is not good for the market.

PLAN YOUR TRADES AND TRADE YOUR PLANS
