It's becoming more obvious that we need a rideshare stakeholders Union. For partners and drivers.
Nigerians don't av d effective capacity for that; owing to our reputation for compromise. This is same reason Nigeria's polity has remained the same with youths just being warriors on social media alone.

My guy. Correct! The rule is to be courteous. Don't turn yourself into slave in the bid to offer 5* service. Loading and offloading luggages is not in your job description.

I stand to be corrected my ppl. I strongly believe that loading and offloading is part our responsibilities.
...It's just like you opening the boot for customer to start arranging their luggages by him /herself, what would you expect from such customer?

It's the customer service that keeps the job running if not many would have stopped using us, and go back to the local cabs.

Please which network are u using? The past 3 weeks have been dull down here. Network depleted my activity score and drivers around me have been snatching request before mpi.

Each time I boost to 95% village people come with network quams again. Missed 2 back to back this afternoon and Dow to 92 from 95. Chai
MTN 4G Lite. Dem don drag my 100% to 97. Was in ojuelegba traffic and network went off when request came in twice, clicked accept but they came like missed calls.. the rain effects....request still comes normal sha... but i use both apps. Hence target is feasible.
Except to pursue weekend bonus, only taxify as requests are so much....

Buying a tokunbo car of 1.7m or 1.8m to start uber/taxify doesn't make sense. It is purely lack of business idea. 35k weekly and your car can't do 52 weeks. 40weeks at most, then repairs. This doesn't make sense at all.
This biz should be a side hustle for car owners. Not a kind of biz that some guys will be feeling like CEOs.

Second if I am not serious, I wouldn't tagged you.

Third, I am calm and ready to learn sir.

Good day guru in the house , is app on waiting good for like 30min or 1hour or negotiations for waiting time is the best?
this depends to a large extent on the trip to be taken after the wait. I won't wait 30mons to take a 3km trip thereafter. But 30km upwards may be worth the wait. You should sabi your onions

Just received a call from Uber few minutes ago, the lady with a middle-east accent was asking me why I haven't driven for awhile. I just told the lady its not a good time to talk and she should return the call later in the day.

As much as I will like to bear my mind, I don't feel the feedback will be taken seriously by Uber. Moreover, hundreds of drivers enroll weekly on Uber platform, why will they be concerned about the inactive drivers.

Thought it was only me. Got same call too, asking why I've not been online for a while.

Well e-hailing business is not a bad business bro.. It is cash business there is nothing like cash flow business.. It has its up and downs just like any business.. It is a tough business, but if it wasn't tough everybody will be good at it .. For now I continue doing it as long as profit margin permits me to do so ..

I sincerely hope you would come forward and talk more about this your so called business.

But first in the world of business never be close minded. Just because you have a bakery or a bottle water coy as claimed doesn't mean people on this thread lack business ideas like you claimed.

Just because it doesn't make sense to you doesn't make it a poor business. Even your claimed business venture (Bakery and bottle water) need transportation.

Or how do you get your raw material, flour, sugar and other materials you mixed together to make your bread. Even if you have bread seller come to your bakery to collect bread for sale (i.e. if na Agege Bread) you dey produce. If you produce slice bread am sure you transport it to direct selling point e.g. Supermarkets, retail store or the kisok next door.

I asked you to explain your business idea, but I am surprised you take it as an insult or an attempt to attack your person. Far from it.

Nobody is an island of knowledge and if you think you a better idea business wise, we welcome you to share your thoughts with us.

People driving here make money, car owners too make money by collecting weekly rental. So here, we have people who provide the asset (Car) and people who provide the service (Drive). People that pay for the service are called Rider.

People that provides the service collect money from people that need the service (Rider) and people that provides the asset get paid weekly (Rental).

52 weeks is a year, car last more that a year. It's called fixed asset. Just like your baking oven, Car is the asset here. You pay rent, PHCN bills, genrator, petrol, other expenses and probably insurance (if you have any). Here our business expenses are engine oil, petrol, car wash and filter.

If you baking oven developed fault, you call a repairer to fix it,when our asset too developed fault,we called our Kazeems, Auto Technician, and other car specialist to provide solutions.

So sir, like I said earlier, you want our attention, now you have it. Let us hear what you have to say? Be constructive, be detailed, be ready to answer questions, don't ask us to come pay for ebook or any course. You enter our thread,be ready to answer all our questions relating to your business.

Cheers
