Useless naija women using the amount of salary of a man to determine marriage.
What if he eventually gets sacked, you'll divorce him?
Naija girls are one set of useless liabilities.

It is not really about naija girls... It is important for a man to have a foreseeable future... Plan A B C and D.

Just like me... I wouldn't also settle for someone less... I mean a liability..
So when a woman says she can't settle for less... She set out a standard and not necessary mean very rich. It could also be a man that will coach her into achieving her goals.

If the man is earning 60k and the wife is earning even if it is 30k a month, it is something.
The saving grace for that man is if he marries someone who is hardworking, someone who is supportive.
They can join hands and open a business somewhere to support their salaries.

I ll jst be managing my singleness...even if it means nt getting married 4 d rest of my life...

You're ignorant and naive. A lot of guys working with state ministries earn less than that, yet they are married with happy families. If you continue to reason this way, you'd remain single for the rest of your life.

Never. That's a suicide attempt. Even if I earn all the money in the world, I will never settle for less. I used to believe in starting small, but as it is now, I've re-strategized. Some men are just too complacent to step out of their comfort zone. We have to be very comfortable to get married. Marriage isn't a child's play.

How old are you?

Depending on the type of man he is. If he's the honest, straight-forward and frugal one, why not?
With good planning, understanding and focus, higher level is achievable..... not to forget that the woman too should not be idle.

I'm impressed with your reply. Never knew we still have ladies like this. This is the wife material we are talking about. Why some are thoughtful like this, others are slaying.

Keep it up!

Hmm series of answers, is it about the salary or what you can achieve out of the salary, I have seen and I know those who earn as low as 60k, yet with proper focus and planning, they achieved millions out of the 60k salary legitimately without doing fraud or stealing, strictly out of investing and starting up a business with what they saved out of the salary. Salary has never and will never take anyone home, no matter how much, it's never enough, it's what you can multiply your salary to through legal means that determines the factor, my dear ladies if you under rate him by his payslip, you may loose a treasure, while those you rate high by their payslip might be living in debt.

Cos with my best friend a female like myself, we give to ourselves everything freely without doubts or suspicions.

Cc MajorJeffery

You guys are so right and that is my experience now.

I married my long time friend. I knew all the babes he dated...we were that close.

My marriage is easy though we have our conflicts but we know how to handle each other.

And handling money matters is easy. It doesn't matter who has the money. Our ATM cards are used by any of us at any particular time. No issue of "it is my money"

There were times when things were down, we would drink the garri together and enjoy it like fried rice cheesy.

Marrying him is the best decision i ever made and at the time we wedded, i was earning over double his salary.
