Who are the OUR? if I'm doing a business and I can't recover my capital in 6months or a year, then it doesn't worth it. You just want to impress people here you are bereft of biz ideas. If I'm selling 800pieces (trying to push it to 1000pieces before December) of slice bread per week at N240 each...make your calculation. I have 5 staffs, the highest earn 60k per month, 3 earn 35k and 2 earn 30k per month. I run my gen 4 to 5hours per day. Pls do your calculation.

Gazzuzz ,

With your 2million, travel to Ondo state, buy 35logs at 50k per log. Transport it to shagamu with 150k, load it in a container, forwarding fee is 1,100,000. A container is sold at $12,000.
Buy palm oil from ondo, and sell in that big market close to ketu. There are women that buy 500 25litres keg every 2weeks.

There's a way guys construct "coldroom" now, let them construct for you. It is better than an irregular 35k with repairs per week....

Etc....

Your oil sales biz and your car repair workshop is giving you the cashflow you need as a man/husband/father. What can 35k even do in a week?? Is that what you guys call a cash flow?? You are not just informed!

(Added this)
Gazzuzz , let your wife sell pet drinks in whole sale. 2m will give her lots of bigcola products (that's the new drink for the masses), then she can add cocacola n Pepsi products...

Look around you, Haruna is densely populated. What's giving Nigeria relevance in the market place today is her population.

Ok I understand your point... but u said your highest salary earner earns something like 60k a month ..what can that do for a person.. Uber is a tough business no doubt ...but most uber driver will make that 60k your highest earner makes in a week, if the uber owns the car easily... but if he does not own the car, am sure very sure he will take home more than 60k a month..
My experience with uber business, personal experience is that a lot of the drivers are greedy, not all of them ..and also managing coy or manager themselves are greedy or very conning ,from personal experience.. Now the smart drivers that were patient enough and experience enough ,were able to save enough money, saw a good deal and bought themselves a good car ..trust me from experience, u can see a good deal or lucky deal in terms of buying a good car ..I even offered to help person buy a car 04 civic landing cost for 1m tokunbo.. So at the end of it all , " in the mist of chaous, there is always an opportunity". It is up to you to make the most of that opportunity... all from personal experience... there is no need for me to explain how I gave a person great opportunity and the person blew... no need to go into details .. My point is that a lot of uber drivers can easily make more than your highest earner.. And aslo those slaves ,sorry I meant labourers working for you in the hot sun.. What is their goal in the nxt five years? Do they want to continue making bread for you for ever ? Or do they want to be carrying your pure water up and down for the nxt five years ? Uber drivers also do have the opportunity to network on their job o ...I am not too sure about your bread seller or pure water seller...

Naija app, the question should be why only taxify that has these problems. We use same phone for other app with no issues. Abeg make them sit down one side jare
I keep saying it here, they should upgrade their app. Even riders complain about the app too, if drivers talk they will be quick to blame phones.

Once again we about to shake the table.. Our drivers - partners have been on their A game regardless of the fall in e-hailing. so we thought it would b wise to change the narrative again.

Vehicles available for weekly rent.. T&C stated below

PART A

Vehicle type : mid size sedan

engine : 1.6L - 2.0L

weekly rent : 36,500

Verifiable Guarantor

PART B

Uber Account MUST be a PARTNER-DRIVER

Ability to Manage up to 5 vehicles

Ability to draft, negotiate contracts used in e-hailing

Each car managed by Partner- DRIVER earns a commission weekly

Note Part B is controlled by Part A, meaning driver must be driving and managing jointly

I source for investors and give out the cars to the partner-drivers to Manage while they drive their own rental.. grin

This table we shaking....

Apparently, he doesnt have a problem with his highest earner collecting 60k monthly............ You might be surprised that its possible he has never advised any of his workers that that they can do better or become better rather than sitting with a 60k job.................. But he sure has a problem with a partner making 35k weekly while still having all the time to pursue more productive ventures.

Its an interesting world we live in though

It happened in Alade market Ikeja.
I needed to buy some dollars, one guy came and said he can get it for me cheap. He asked me to wait for him, he collected my money and gave me his own bundle of money as "Assurance" that he'll not run with my money which was like 5x the amount I gave him. A few minutes later, he returned saying the owner of the dollar is requesting that I add more money that hes no longer selling at the agreed rate, so I refused and asked him to give me back my money which he brought out, counted and recounted b4 handing it back to me and I also returned his.

When I now got to one of the offices where I usually buy, the Mallam say my money no complete...that dude half my money...azzin he took half and gave me half. I wan mad!

...and nah company money, not mine.

Am done with Taxify until they upgrade their app. Its really demoralizing. Took some riders from Int Airport to Ilupeju then Alausa passport office and finally proceeded to festac passport office yesterday, ended ride and the fucking app displayed 2,800. I later did manual calculation and arrived at 7,200. They were considerate and dropped 6,500. Mshw

They even tried mine has refused to do something up till now. The wicked man even blocked me, I shouldn't have allowed his girlfriend to go that day because that was my greatest undoing. The other day was GRA to ikoyi at 1200 They will tell you to do a review yet they won't do anything about it. If at all it will take ages and they will use it as their commission.

I meet my target wen i do tht especially in areas u know u must position well. Almost at every nook and cranny of this town u will see boys waiting for request in their cars and most of them are on rental o. Use ur brain and smile later.

I hardly get trips in the morning these days but afternoon n evening trips are pretty normal. Chop both Monday n Tuesday evening bonus after burning up the whole 6k fuel to make 22k gross.

The rate at which I consume fuel moving around looking for riders is just too much. Else if I don't move. I wont get enough request.

From ICM. I took a rider to agege, blow back to ICM got another resquest quickly to magboro., blew back to ICM then resquest to surulere almost immediately again.

Na so I sit inside car in surulere kilo till 10:30pm no request before blowing fuel back home.

Today na. Its 10:30 no resquest. I no won burn fuel.

While the academic in me would agree with you, my being brought up by a "balogun" family part simply disagrees.

You’d be surprised at what is possible and what is not when it comes to spiritual things.

No time trying to tell you the things but one thing I can promise you sir, is that majority of those illogical things you hear about are very much real.

Tracker page: https://mymoto.com.ng/product/vehicle-car-pickup-commercial-trucks-gps-tracker-h02-tracker-nigerian-configured/
Office Location: 3-9 Olu Koleosho Street, Off Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos

WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED MYMOTO TRACKER

(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.

(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).

(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.

(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.

(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.

(6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low.

(7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car.

We have heard of one or two expereience of how clients were able to recover their vehicles BECAUSE THEY HAD A TRACKER INSTALLED IN IT. We will be sharing some of them with you based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES.

If you have had personal experiences also, kindly share with us.

WE STILL INSTALL THE MOST AFFORDABLE TRACKERS AROUND STARTING FROM 25K (VARIES WITH CAR MODEL).

WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE LIFETIME ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE PLATFORMS FOR MONITORING/STOPpING YOUR CAR.

YOU'VE SPENT QUITE MUCH TO ACQUIRE YOUR CAR, SECURE IT WITH A TRACKER. BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY

Story 1
During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Unknown to the thieves, the car had a tracker in it. That same night they tracked the vehicle to a military baracks (apparenntly the thieves had accomplices with military connections). They went with the police and they were able to recover the car (THE DEMOBILIZE FUNCTION OF THE TRACKER WAS USED TO ENSURE THE CAR DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THEY GOT TO THAT LOCATION)...

Story 2
Mr Bayo was bout entering his car in the night somewhere in Lagos when he was attacked. He immediately used his phone to demobilize the car some minutes after they had zoomed away with the car. The thieves ran away when they discovered the car wasn't strating again. The car was tracked to Ajah. Apparently the thieves ran away in fear with the keys of the car grin

Requests are thinning out, this is no longer a matter of survival of the fittest, it is now survival of the fittest AND smartest. Even fit drivers are feeling the pinch, and are shouting it loud.
So is it that the smart + hardworking ones are quiet because they are making money?

We have heard of drivers getting 2 trips after being online all day, that right there is a hardworking driver . He stayed online for 12 hours, he was willing to work. But only 2 "jobs" came his way.

There are many cars on the platform now, it is apparent. Competition is now very stiff. The ever-growing pot of drivers are all struggling for this same tepid, stagnant pool of riders. (I even believe Taxify is currently doing more to get new passengers on board than Taxify).

My people have a saying about how it is easier for the whole village to cook for one person, than for one person to cook for the whole village.

Drivers need to begin differentiating themselves by the service they offer.
I believe to survive, drivers need to begin thinking out of the box on how to attract offline trips.
Take that stagnant pool of riders and turn it into an active group of off line passengers.

Offlines trips usually pay better than online ones even minus the percentage fee of the rideshare platforms.
Tap from Uber and Taxify's large customer base. Let the village cook for you.
That way, you only log onto the apps when you are trying to convert new offline customers to your service. You only need about 5-10 sure customers to start raking in serious cash. If you pick 300 people a month, you should at least be able to convert 2 of those every month.

At 2,000 per hour, booking 5-10 hours a day will net you way more than online trips, way less overhead costs, a much better and personalised experience with your riders. Even, more time for yourself.

The choice is finally finally with you, not the market.
INNOVATE.

Nothing has ever been more touche in your clapbacks grin.

A driver using your car to hustle will not waste 5yrs before climbing the success ladder plus networking opportunities while on d job.
But a 60k bakery labourer has lesser chances of that, even zero. How much from 60k does he wanna save to build a bakery in the foreseeable future.
The rider who took me home yesternite, partnered with a corolla '09 car owner, saved up and got the matrix he drove me in lastnite.
The chances of that happening to that guy's bakery slave is a stone-throw from impossible.

Too bad we have to resort to berate vocations of ppl just to make a point..but the haughty business mogul called luxy44 set the unhealthy precedent on this one.
