Mothers both nursing and mothers to-be I celebrate all of una oooo Meanwhile i have some tips to health benefits of breastfeeding for mums and babies The health benefits of Breastfeeding for Mums and Baby Breast milk is the best nutrition you can offer your newborn. Breastfeeding offers tremendous health benefits to both you and your baby. It is specially designed to cater for all your child’s nutritional needs in the first six months of life. For maximum benefits, breastfeeding should be initiated soon after the birth of your child. Baby Breast milk evolves as your baby grows. It’s a milk with antibodies and proteins to protect your baby’s newborn intestines and provide a natural immunization. • Breast milk has equal amounts of protein, carbohydrates and fats to meet your baby’s needs. • Breast milk supports healthy brain and eye development your baby. • Aids digestive system in babies, hundreds of nutrients found in breast milk are the healthiest for your baby’s digestive system. • Proteins in breast milk are better than proteins found in regular cow’s milk and most formulas. • Protects your babies against food allergies, protein intolerance, and sensitivity. • Breast milk supports your baby immune system in a way no other substance can. • Have a lower risk of obesity and Types 1 and 2 diabetes • Breastfed babies have a lower incidence of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) • Have a reduced risk for ear infections (otitis media) and gastroenteritis • Breastfeeding is a superior nutrition for your baby • There is an increased resistance to infections, and therefore fewer incidents of illness and hospitalization • Breast milk is sterile • Baby experiences less nappy rash and thrush • Breastfed infants tend to have fewer cavities • Breastfeeding promotes the proper development of baby’s jaw and teeth and provides your baby with optimal oral development because of their jaw movements and nutrients in breast milk decrease the risk of tooth decay. • Breastfed infants tend to have higher IQs due to good brain development early in life • In the long term, breastfed babies have a decreased risk of malnutrition, obesity and heart disease compared to formula fed babies. Mums • Mums who breastfeed have a decreased risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, breast cancer and ovarian cancer later on in life. • Breastfeeding hormones reduce recovery time. • The act of breastfeeding helps your uterus to contract and return to its pre-pregnancy size in less time. • Breastfeeding reduces the amount of postpartum initial bleeding and decreases menstrual blood loss during the first few months after childbirth. • You will find quiet moments and places for a positive experience. • Its inexpensive, Convenient and Naturally Made. • It requires little to no equipment. • During lactation, menstruation ceases, offering a form of contraception • Mothers who breastfeed tend to lose weight and achieve their pre-pregnancy figure more easily than mothers who bottle feed • Mothers who breastfeed are less likely to develop breast cancer later in life • Breastfeeding is more economical than formula feeding • There are less trips to the doctor and less money is spent on medications • Breastfeeding promotes mother-baby bonding • Hormones released during breast-feeding create feelings of warmth and calm in the mother source: https://www.bellefit.com/blog/the-benefits-of-breastfeeding-for-mom-and-baby/ https://www.lansinoh.com/en/resources/11-benefits-of-breastfeeding-for-baby/ www.everymums.com 4 Likes 1 Share |

bookholla: They're not. Carter's is an American brand made in Cambodia/Malaysia. Alibaba is a Chinese website supplying the world. Sometimes, certain brands make clothes may be made in the same factory but different quality of fabrics are used. By the time you add branding, shipping and other overheads, the American ends up being more expensive. But the original Carter's will conform to US standards, which also makes it more expensive. So if you're buying them from Alibaba, please know this. Carter's is actually not a very expensively-manufactured brand, they just spend the most on advertising. |

Happy New Month eveybody! (There was a time when I used to roll my eyes at this greeting, but I was very young now I'm glad to say it.) August is a special month for me, all our "Mums" are born in August. There will be a lot of awesome posts on the blog and some I cannot post online (because my mum reads my blogs). So please suscribe at www.nefescorner.com Ummm, we have new guest writers (gulp!): a fashion expert, a fitness and dance guru (who is writing about Pole Dancing) and a Sexxpert (God help me ). Please don't read if you're not above 18 (Yes we have sexxuality counselors in Nigeria, yes I have consulted with her and she is good. No, you don't need to know what she and I discussed! But my sis who also consulted with her got a holiday by herself to Morocco and is now touring the UK and US ) 3 Likes 1 Share

Its not so bad, but not as cute and bright as what's displayed on screen. It's..just there. Meanwhile I've bought other stuffs on aliexpress in the past and there were absolutely cool 1 Like |

iwuoahsamuels: sorry I'm just seeing this. you pour hot steamy water in a bowl. preferably be in an enclosed place like bathroom. then you can put about two drops of silverbird (eucalyptus oil). n allow ur baby to breath in d steam. pls don't place ur baby too close n don't put too much of the oil as the smell is very strong. another thing I do is to put the water in a rubber cup with handle, put the eucalyptus oil in it n gradually bring it close to her nostrils. so she can breathe n it can more effectively steam her face. but to do this you have to put good precautions in place so the water does not pouring on your baby. like cover her with thick clothes or shawl, hold the cup firmly, remove the water on n off so it's not too much. sometimes if I have someone to help I can cover a little with towel just to prevent the steam from escaping. just for few secs per time o. maybe ten secs I hope this helps 3 Likes 1 Share |
