First week of resumption would be for documentation, medicals and police screening....

But what scared me was a guy from neighborhood who is a 3rd class graduate of Chemical Engineering is chilling at home with APL for the past two weeks.
I wonder how 3rd class graduates are recruited in DPR.

No, that's not his point I am sure. His point is that even during the advert, it was clearly stated that 2:2 above are only qualified to apply. So how can someone who isn't qualified be getting job over thousands of qualified ones?
Yes, there is destiny surely but allow people speak up when they see mediocrity.

It's this leave them alone mentality that has made the country to be in this state that we are in!

Well, Congrats to him.

Those that didn’t meet the minimum requirements and were issued APLs should better know what they signed up for. It’s not going to be easy for them as they progress.

The Corporate Services division will make it difficult for them to grow in the long run. It will be frustration upon frustration. In the future, they may have difficulties getting promoted or holding sensitive positions no matter their input. Only a few survive!

Can this country really change?

Most of us were complaining about the process been hijacked by politician, and in the end those that were so much patience prior to this time are now going about looking for Senator, Governor, etc to help them.

Somebody should tell me how the process can be changed when we are all a victim in one way or the other. If you eventually get the job through connection, how can you effect a change (impossible), since you have decided to follow the same route. by the time you get to that level where you can make the decision you won't be able to do anything to effect the necessary change since someone help you get there, you have to pay back and the same issues that we are complaining about will still continue to repeat itself.

I want to call on those that make it purely through merit and the stakeholder candidate with conscience to think and rethink on the way forward in order to ensure due process is followed in this country.

We want change but to see the desired change, we must change our ways individually. until this is done, we will never see any change.

Congratulations to those that were called and bye for now.

Be rest assured the recruitment is not over. On the 3rd of August the last set of people would be called. DPR has added 5 slots for every state and calls will b made next week.

True talk... I think it might b impossible to completely remove issue of favouritism but what I personally want nd hope for is dat merit shud always get the lion share not d oda way round. Favouritism will never end in Nigeria, because you will never campaign against what got you into the system, most of the guys that got in thru stakeholders will be the ones heading these organizations in the next 25-30 years, and they will never preach or practice merit over nepotism, and the cycle continues. The issue is, get your stakeholder or keep the faith.
