I don't know if there is an official rate. But it's usually around 21-30k (especially if you don't have stuff like Alumni receipts, blah blah blah) but it's quite fast. No delays.

WES should hold their peace with this WAEC matter o. My heart skipped a bit when I saw that update in requred documents. I've been counting down to August 20 when my evaluation is due for completion.
Anyway I doubt it will affect files at this stage, after all they wrote on my page that "Your evaluation is in progress. You're not required to do anything at this time." In fact, I didn't see anything, let me remove my mind from it.

Hey Everyone,

Just thought to share how I was able to renew my passport with little or no hassle.

I live in Abuja so I guess this is mainly directed at those who live here or are willing to travel all the way.
Got a contact at immigration office gwagwalada from my friend and when I got to the dude’s office, he said 32page booklets (which cost 25k) weren’t readily available. I jejely just agreed to go for 64pages (which cost 30k). I wasn’t able to wait to pick it up cause I was ill but it was ready same day and I picked it up the next day (my contact sent it into town for me so I didn’t have to go all the way to Gwags to pick it up).

Thanks. ICES has an emailing option of transcript and we will ask if money can be discounted for the shipping. Every dollar and/or naira saved means a lot.

i saw same too on mine. Expected completion date is august 20th. I guess they just upgraded their systems and its reflected same information across board, regardless of the stage. I do believe they wont come back to ask for that sha, as per all requested documents were sent as required when we started.

either they employed a rookie, or they are just........ don't know the adjective to use sef. either of the two or both

I suppose my first question will be directed more to the Ancestors, the Elders could help too. I have thoroughly read the thread (most of it anyway) since I've been following silently for over a year.
Question: Can spouse join me in Canada at a later date of I select "NO" to the question "will spouse accompany you"? Reason for this is to increase my CRS as I stand a greater chance applying alone.

Sure, you can send me a pm. He collected 20k for 2 persons ( My spouse and I). I can't say if he would accept less than that. I think it all boils down to one's bargaining power though. He initially quoted 25k for the 2. We had to haggle before he accepted the 20k i.e 10k each.

MY ECA is August 8th too.

I sent WES a DM on twitter and they responded to say that it is a new requirement that will not be applicable to me.
