with the proposed offer of reinstalling his club Giwa FC. I see it as a win-win for both parties if they can reach a mutual concession.

But the question now is this. Will Giwa agree to have his club join the NNL? Cos that is the only feasible way of getting them back in to the folds of Nigeria Football League.

It will be easier said than done because Giwa was forced to release his players. He can't just snap his fingers and produce a productive team like that.

Yes Shehu did his bit but it is atrocious to say that Shehu was as good as Wague was at the world cup. About Roberto, he is destined for the midfield, main reason Wague is coming in. Wague will be even better than envisaged for FCB. He is that good, he put in spectacular performances for both country and club before we sounded out his camp for a possible transfer. I'm so happy we gonna have yet another African in my team even though I wish it was a Nigerian coming in.

Well Wague didn't go up against any world class wingers, we only saw him bomb forward we don't know if he can defend. But I agree that it is good to see another African in Barca.

Emery rates Iwobi from all his comments about him.Iwobi will still play an important role under Emery. Auba and Laca will not play together in all games.
Of course he will get game time, especially in the cup competitions. However, it will be tough for him fighting Mikhitarian, Oezil, Ramsey, Aubamayeng on the wings and Dembele if the rumors prove to be true.
Best of luck to him.

I thought the rumour was Ramsey for Dembele?

LOL.. Barcelona have signed Vidal from Bayern. Don't think the Ramsey swap will materialize. I reckon they want straight cash for Dembele or maybe a loan move.
Interesting few days ahead surely.
Nzozi for Ramsey is the latest I hear.

He will get plenty of league game time, forget cup. Emery rates Iwobi. Iwobi's introduction changed their last game against Chelsea.

I didnt watch the Chelsea game but from what I saw of the Psg friendly, Iwobi is still Iwobi. He missed an obligatory sitter. The only way he will wrestle a position in the starting 11 is if his production level stays consistent. The body language of the new guys at Arsenal looks zero tolerance.

That we messed it up before doesn't mean we'll surely mess it up always.
The mess up wasn't a one off. I mean, qualifiing 1 time out of 4 Afocns looks a damming verdict and a huge indictment to your sentiments.

He will get plenty game time and start some. The only thing Iwobi lacks right now is converting his chances but he puts himself in good positions. He adds to the Arsenal game.

There is a young Ghanaian midfielder that is currently being trailed by major clubs. Faisal Adams Billey, currently on trial at PSG but also chased by Man City, PSV, Standard Liege, Wolfsburg, Dortmund, Monaco.....

Nah. Records are available for the fun of the game. It either continues or get broken; it's not set on stone. 5 more qualifying games to go but you're certain we'll never top the group. Are you always this pessimistic?

The guy just wants to side foot every attempt. I'd be disappointed if he doesn't improve on his shooting by the end of the season.
Should be having double figures in goals and assists like Wenger said but I'll be ok with 7 goals and 10 assists from him this season.
Gets into great positions for it to happen

Not only that, he needs to sort out and find a stable position for himself on the pitch. The crossover playing on the wings and midfield is proving difficult for him to manage. He dropped more bad games than good ones last season on the wings.
He also needs to work on his work ethic because I hear Emery is all about press, press and press.

Am sorry but I say it as it is. I don't like sounding politically correct to appeal to emotions.
Sentiments aside, it is very difficult, almost impossible to top a group after loosing your first game to direct rival in a round robbing format.
Take for instance the last world cup. How many teams qualified top from their groups after loosing their first game?

French Ligue 1 team Bordeaux are in talks with their Belgian counterparts KAA Gent over the transfer of exciting winger Samuel Kalu.

French sports daily L'Equipe says Bordeaux launched an undisclosed bid for Kalu on Friday, August 3 and the two clubs are negotiating the transfer of the talented Nigerian youngster.

Kalu does not play centrally in attack but has been scoring or creating goals for Gent; he has been directly involved in 26 goals (10 goals, 16 assists) in 55 appearances since his move to Belgium.

Last season, the 20-year-old was heralded as Nigeria's most promising talent in Europe by CIES Football Observatory.

Another niche to his game is that he can also play as an attacking midfielder and can be deployed on the left flank.

The former AS Trencin starlet is contracted to KAA Gent until the summer of 2020.

How would you compare Qfs with world cup. A world cup group game has each teams playing three matches each. After losing your first, it becomes difficult for you to come out as top of your group. Here, you fate is in the hands of your opponents. In a QFs, you have six group gamed each and a chance to redeem yourself against whoever gave you your first defeat. Five games are still left and you are seeing us dropping if it were to be one team per group. This ain't about appealing to emotions; save that line until it gets to the time calculator is needed (lets still assume it's only one team going through). As for now, anyone can top that group.

Problem is that you see it only from the Nigerian perspective.
You think the other countries ahead of Nigeria on points do not have it in their hands to qualify too? Nigeria as it is are competing already from a deficit of 3 points and - 2goals.
We would have had our work really cut out for us if only 1 team qualified. It's not about making bold claims. This is football.
