These African nations should have prostested the choice of Nigeria to host the tourney. The country is in shambles right now.

Asaba, the city that decided to embark on construction works that block almost all the major roads at the same time, and at the peak of raining season in a town prone to flooding. The kind suffering me and my car went through this past month in Asaba makes me yearn to go back to Lagos with all its hassles. When I saw almost all major roads blocked and was told there will be an international event like the athletic championship, I thought it was a joke.
Complaints coming are reminiscent of what you get in Nigeria. We are never a thorough and serious minded people. It is no wonder we have a lot of people making their living as comedians. Ours is a land of comedy.

Yes oooo. We don’t need to host anything for now. We need to shut the world out and settle our problems before even pretending to be a suitable member of the committee of nations.

Dunno why they chosed Asaba to host a competition of this magnitude, a capital city with messed up infrastructure hosting such a huge event was always going to be a disaster.
