Anyother person other than Buhari winning the election in 2019 will NEVER step down in 2023.

The idea of stepping down for an Ibo candidate in 2023 is funny and wishful thnking. In Nigeria I laugh in stepping down

If that is genuine let such a person make the commitment publicly and clearly that he will only go for one term only and suport an Ibo in 2023. It will nott happen.
Folk should deal with reality and not indulge in fantasy
The Igbos are not that desperate to access power in 2023.

The northern can do 8 years from 2019 so that when an Igbo candidate eventually gets there, he will have somewhere to start from.

It will take a minimum of 8 years to rectify the disaster/ruin Buhari is leaving in his wake.

We don't want an Igbo president to end up a fall guy...

Oga,am also from cross river.the state is not so safe for pdp.apc are getting stronger here.most of the top politicians in crs are in apc.apc now dominates the central zone plus a large part of the south.buhari has given our state more appointments than any other southern state,it is unprecedented.hes close to buhari.all these will give him close to 100k votes in the state.apart from that,he has a handful of supporters in crs.i dont see pdp winning apc unless most of the governors support pdp, deflate buhari votes in the north and inflate pdp votes in the souyh
You have been spreading falsehood all over the place.

I am typing from Ikom. Who are the leaders in Central and South that will deliver votes to APC?

The last time I checked, John Owan Enoh dug his political grave by joining APC. He is neither here nor there at the moment. They harassed him with EFCC and he capitulated. There are even rumours that he is planning to come back to PDP.

What does it tell you that as useless as Ayade is, he refused to contemplate defecting to APC having seen the handwriting on the wall.

The kingmakers in Cross River are almost all domiciled in PDP. APC is a comic relief here.

Lest I forget, where is Usani Uguru Usani? Is he not from Cross River?

Guy, don't be a bad comedian...

True talk. All the political heavy weight in the country will always remember the sacrifices they made to defeat buhari and will readily backed an igbo presidency in 2023 for their prominent role. By trading the VP slot they may stand to gain a presidential slot in 2023 in PDP based on zoning.

Very naive, which presidential candidate from PDP will not want to do two terms? Is it Saraki or Tambuwal? This your compensation plan is DOA.

In all these evil permutations, the competenc of your Fulani candidate or the 2023 ibo candidate is not even considerd, only their ethnic origins or religion matter, that's how you and I contribute to make this country a loser

look at this use*le*ss m*a*d d*o*g, did I tell you that I am enjoying before? Of course I am suffering and Because I am suffering that is why i want this damnable entity called Nigeria disintegrate so that people who want to be self reliant can do so in their own country they called Biafra. But instead of me to continue suffering as you have postulated I will rather work assiduously with every drop of my blood and with every energy within my system towards the total dismemberment of this fraudulent entity called Nigeria. Even though I worked very hard to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and competence needed for me to live a fulfilled life, but the cruel environmental condition channeled towards ensuring that we people from old Eastern region remain in perpetual slavery imposed on us by the hausa fulani aided by the British government will not allow us to live a meaningful live. I will ensure that I shall work with all my heart and if need be, my blood spill to ensure that my children and children children will have a better place to call home when I might have gone. We are in our millions nursing this suicidal thought and we have strategically positioned ourselves waiting for the ultimate command. Biafra issue is a time bomb in waiting. Those who knows knows. ...... Boko harram will be a child's play compare to the horror that will be unleash unto this fraudulent entity called Nigeria if she refuse to allow Biafra to go. They claimed that biafrans are the major problem of Nigeria, this major problem has shown her desire to exit the union, but you keep holding her down through a barrel of gun. Soon that same gun will fail you all.

What is very likely to happen is that there will be a direct electoral contest between a Yoruba person against an Igbo. No one will steep down for the other so it willl be an interesting contest>

Based on Nigerian antecedents I cannot see an Igbo person winning .

everybody can contest. So I hope the Igbos imbibe hat spirit and are confiident enough to contest againt al southerners whether they are Edo Urhobo Efik or whatever

That is why i believe PDP winning lies in the hands of the south east willing to trade the VP slot for speakership to win the presidency in 2019. Along side the speakership slot, south east can also compensated with ministerial appointments as well. PDP have a huge task on their hand in terms of begging and persuading the south east to make the sacrifices in other for the party to win in 2019. The target is to split buhari stronhold which is the north and the west, the central is already tillting towards the SS/SE, the saraki factor is playing a role already. PDP can not allow buhari to win block votes in the south west or the game is over for them. PDP really need to strategize properly to take buhari out, because as it is now his political reputation is already limping. Proper strategy will finish him at the polls. Anything other than that buhari will coast to victory. I would even recommend jimi agbaje for the VP slot in the south west, since he is a very likable person in the south west, east and south.

Jimi what?

All of that s childish stuff.

If APC win in 2019 then likely their candidate in 2023 will be Yoruba

If PDP win in 2019 then that candidate likely will contest in 2023 .
If APC win in 2019 with Buhari then the only way we will have a an Igbo president in 2023 is from PDP or a new party . APC will not field an Igbo in 2023.

That is the reality on ground so stop insulting your parents in public

the closest to making any meaningful impact is kwankwaso, who won't win his state too,but should be able to get 30-40% in kano and kaduna

There is no way igbo will vote buhari. the only way that may happen is if buhari will drop osinbajo for a very likable igbo candidate, loved by the igbos. i don't mean the likes of rochas or ngige. buhari shot himself in the foot with his grandstanding especially in the SE. One thing with the igbos is that they don't pretend when they hate you. they make sure that you are aware that they hate you. majority of the igbos will rather throw away their vote than vote a buhari in 2019 if not for anything but to make a statement that they will never support a buhari. even buhari himself knows this
