Then select, your course, level of proposed degree(Bsc,Masters), language of instruction(English or Chinese) and click search. it will bring out the schools that goes in line with your search and as well offer scholarships to international students.

Depends on the University but on average it takes about 2-3 weeks sometimes longer especially if you apply late.

Hi House, I wish I discovered this thread earlier. I am applying for a Chinese Z Visa with September 1st resumption. I am in Lagos, the only doc remaining is this police report. I paid 10k for it at area F but they said I need to go to Abuja foreign ministry.

1. Please note, I had a Chinese visa before and didn't overstay.
2. I want to go to Abuja, do I still need the foreign ministry thing or just go straight to embassy? (keeping point 1 in mind)
3. How long before the Abuja embssy can verify my submitted documents, Is there a fee for this verification?
4. Can my employer use an unverified police clearance to apply for Visa in china pending when I subMit the verified form?
5. Also, any general advice on how to plan so this whole thing doesn't delay cos it seems there is no time at all.

For those on scholarship applying for visa

This is the requirements I received from Chinese embassy in LAGOS



The required documents for a full scholarship study visa application are as listed below;
JW202 form

Admission Letter and scholarship award letter

On line completed application form

2 pages of your international passport data page (with a minimum of six (6) months validity)

Police character certificate with finger prints.

Foreigners physical examination record form with results and receipts attached to it

Previous results and certificates.

Flight itinery

Birth certificate

Two white background passport photograph
*If there would be any expenses incured on your path like flight booking, up keep, e.t.c., you would have to provide a sponsorship documentation as follows:


Letter of sponsorship

Proof of relationship with sponsor

Sponsor's bank statement, personal and corporate(if applicable)

Documents to show sponsor's source of income like;
Company CAC and memorandum (for company owners and directors)
In the case of company employees, provide:
Work ID card
Employment Letter
Payslip for the last six months.
