Must you always bring in tribalism to all thread on Nairaland. The last time I checked UNN hostels look like a prison or is it Uniben that their hostels look dirty or is it Unilag that turned a 4 man room to 8 man room. Poor educational facilities is not restricted to one region or ethnic it cut across the whole nation.

This issue of TSA is having a negative effect on education. When universities had a little bit of autonomy, they were better funded. TSA would have been good if the federal government is ready to fund education. Imagine the total budget for education in Nigeria! I pray our government realises the importance of health and education soon.

They will graduate since the faculties had accreditation as at the time they were admitted..... the effect of losing accreditation is that students won't be admitted into those faculties

The 'looting' by the university management and academics has been reduced by the implementation of TSA, but the fund is now being looted by people who are not stakeholders; on a bigger scale. Either way, education is in trouble here.

I feel NUC suspend accreditation for this courses for some insincere reasons. At times they do it because they were not bribed. My alma mater suffered same faith now we have one of the best engineering programs

So true but u guys don't appreciate looting-free private universities. Our education sector is not mature enough for self reliance.

Nasarawa State Polytechnic graduated students for over six year now, they are all yet to be mobilized for NYSC becus of"this accreditation stuff. Meanwhile, students have been paying for this accreditation. all courses at Naspoly has lost accreditation.
