Copied. Pls let's take note. Manmeet Rai: Story of a newly landed PR resident. This morning I met a newly landed PR, who was a part of my previous WhatsAPP group. We met because he desperately contacted me on Friday seeking help. This new PR could not find an apartment because two banks refused to give him a Credit Card. The landlords had doubts about his credentials. The federal government mandates that all newly landed PR be given at least a $2000 credit card. He was not provided the card because someone stole his identity and tried using it to get a line of credit. Long story short, we sat down to figure out how his identity could have been stolen and it all boiled down to two factors. The place you order your GCMS notes from and whom you shared them with. So the newlay landed PR has ordered 2 sets of GCMS notes form a website like many others. He also shared the notes with some fellow WhatsAPP members. I have been emphasizing over and over again, that GCMS notes contain very important information which can be used or stolen. It is therefore very important to ensure where you request your GCMS / CBSA / CSIS notes and whom you share it with. Most of the GCMS website operating are not incorporated in Canada and therefore even if you want to take a legal action, you cannot. Starting today, any one who shares GCMS notes or an extract of it without blanking out personal details, his posts will be immediately deleted. How to verify if the GCMS notes provider is a legitimate one or an fly by night: 1. Thoroughly check the website. If it is a crudely esigned website, then it is a one person job and its credentials doubtful. 2. Chekc the legal and terms and condition section. See if it subjects itself to Canadaian courts in case of dispute. 3. If you have doubts, ask the website operator for their address and contact number. 4. All websites not have a trend to mention PIDEPA compliance. However, none of of them are as it takes hours of audit and internal processing to meet the requirements. To provide a greater legitimacy to getgcms.com, starting next week, it will have a phone number and a contact address in the contact page. This is being done to alleivate any concerns of foul play. Please share this and keep your information safe. 40 Likes 10 Shares |

I don't know why people still use third-party companies to order GCMS notes when you can do it on CIC's website for just $5 CAD... but people don't like to read and research so when it backfires they keep claiming village people... pure ignorance olabellruk: 8 Likes 4 Shares |

It is well Please kindly help house, I requested for an extension to submit our passports to enable me add my newborn after ppr and a place holder was generated for the addition. Do I proceed to submit our passports after I complete all necessary documentations for newborn? I really don't know if I'm supposed to wait for any other correspondence from cic before submitting our passports Also, will biometrics be applicable to us in this case? If yes, what's the process? Thank you, everyone, for the valuable information and resources provided through this forum. Please will appreciate guidance on the NOC details for the following job duties and responsibilities: Job title: Donor Relations Associate Job Duties: Process all gifts, donations, information updates, change requests and information requests coming in from donors. This includes setting up new donor records, processing gifts and generating the appropriate correspondence, including acknowledgement letters, sponsor welcome packages, etc. Achieve departmental SLA’s as outlined by the Manager. Obtain missing information from donors, as required. Adhere to quality assurance programs for call management, correspondence and data accuracy. Respond to all donor requests, and address all donor interactions with a view to providing best in class customer service and increasing donor retention rates as well as cross-selling where appropriate based on KPIs outlined on the yearly goals. Pro-actively problem-solve donor concerns with the willingness to meet both donor needs and business requirements while exceeding expectations. This includes the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, working with the donor to identify issues including technical/website/donor portal issues. Correct information, reset donor portal passwords, and alert IT and follow through to ensure technical issues are resolved. Impact donor retention by ensuring donors are offered alternatives to cancellation and identify opportunities for donor retention based on KPIs outlined on the yearly goals. Ensure interactions are recorded and accurate in all donor accounts for any interaction with a donor (whether phone, email, and other correspondence). This includes recording remittance of payments, income tax receipts, and appeals. Ensure knowledge and understanding of all Business Rules and follow accordingly. This includes policies and procedures such as, but not limited to: major gifts; response times for various activities; records retention; tax receipts; joint giving; gift acceptance; etc. Upon discovery of errors, process appropriate adjusting entries per business rules and/or escalate as appropriate. As required provide donor income tax receipts per donor preference and within business rules and CRA requirements. Assist DRSs with correspondence, email, web, social media inquiries and returned mail, when required. I am thinking NOC 4164 Social policy researchers, consultants and program officers but will appreciate input and feedback on this from the house. Thank you very much in advance. 1 Like |

Please, can one use funds in domiciliary account as the only source for POF? The account would be seven months old, with the full required funds, by the time we apply to enter the pool. Newmum0615, Mcstan18 |

hello,i totally disagree with your conclusion because as a computer forensic expert your data can be compromised by anybody so far your personal computer is connected to the internet we just need to take extra precaution while using the internet ,even the biggest company get hacked and vital data get stolen but to put the whole blame solely on a gscm company is just not correct ,and even your data can be stolen via your so called trusted friends with just a keylogger remotely link to the computer and how does the phone number and contact address , will make any website legitimate ..i do not think so this just another marketing strategy olabellruk: 7 Likes 1 Share |
