The Senator-elect, who will represent the Bayelsa East Senatorial District, made the comments during the Silverbird “Man of the Year” event which held on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.

As incompetent as Akpabio is. Leading NASS is not about sharing money or ordering thugs to kill people who criticize you, which seems to be the only thing Akpabio is good at.

Akpabio has no substance and you can see this from all the speeches he makes on the senate floor. It's either to make people laugh or kid around or make jokes. No intellectual thrust at all, no idealogy, no mental depth in anything, just vain and simple and common all the time.

Akpabio is mentally empty. Compare his performance with that of his colleague from Akwa Ibom, Senator Bassey Albert and you will see who's more intelligent.

Minority leader CANNOT be a member of the majority party, so Akpabio would definitely have resigned the position. APC didn't lose minority leader position cos it can never be theirs.
Senate president however can come from any party, so Saraki can remain the president of d senate.
