advocatetruth:Try www.anzscosearch.com. it'll direct you every possible links to Australian migration. From the Assessing bodies of all the job codes to the states sponsoring these nominations. But you must register first on the site to access their full content. Everyone should check it out and if possible follow them on Facebook for the latest migration info. Also check out www.iscah.com. Wonderful sites 2 Likes |

Good day everyone, I have done my assessment with EA and didn't get the outcome I requested for, instead I was given Engineering Technologist outcome. I don't have work experience and currently unemployed. As it stands, the maximum points I can claim is 65 (Age-30, Qual-15, Eng-20). I was about to rewrite PTE for 20pts but I got discouraged because only Engineering Technologist with very high points get invited coupled with the fact that most states/regions are taking Engineering Technologist off their list. I'm demoralized, I don't know what I can do. House, please I need suggestions... |

@iamblisz . I use the moniker qstomiwa which you sent an email to, I replied without response from you. To have a suitable outcome with AIQS, you need a minimum of 2 years cognate experience under a supervisor who belongs to some international professional bodies as Nigerian Institute of QS is not formally recognised. I know 2 close people who used an NIQS supervisor, one has like 5-6 years and the other has like 7-8 years, it is risky to use an NIQS member, it depends on the case officer. If you had your BTech from FUTA, your degree might not be recognised and assessed as comparable to an Australian Quantity Surveying/Construction Management and Economics degree cos the transcripts list only a small proportion of subjects that may directly relate to Quantity Surveying (A lot of borrowed courses), another case officer might overlook this cos the two QSs I earlier mentioned finished from OAU and they have BSc not BTech. Based on the foregoing, I do not think you have the requirements to get a suitable outcome from AIQS, you can wait till you ve a minimum of two years work experience (IT experience not allowed), no one knows the future of this skilled migration thing as it is getting tougher every hour. Just my 2 cents. |

gaaaa: Sir thanks for your reply. I never received your mail, I had my B Tech from FUTminna, it a five years course and we borrowed irrelevant courses but not More than the QS courses itself. Since my experience is very important for suitable outcome I guess i should find other options instead of looking for a job and waiting for two years to get the required experience. It's all good, im sill preparing to take TOEFL and GRE, I wanted to use the TOEFL for Australia PR and graduate school. Now I'm left with only the graduate school. Sir Thanks for finding time to elaborate, I really appreciate |

@iamblisz, Bro 2 years is not 20 years as it is short, the only con is that things are changing. The requirements might even change but I will advise you go thru the study route if you have the money. |

Greetings to the honorable house. I come in good faith to eulogize with all those struggling with the process NOT to give up, but spread your options. I can now categorically say I'm half Canadian half Nigerian. And to all those in the #GMPC, please read, learn, explore and expand your options. Shout out to @mamajazz, @Bellong, @Phlunter01, @Segun and those I didnt mention.. We shall all live the Nigeria dream ( Leaving Nigeria for Good) 2 Likes |

Ejadike:I think someone was advised about marketing specialist sometime back. But most marketing occupation are skill level 1 occupation and you say you have HND, plus they are mostly not available on 189 but on 489 and 190. I really don't know which advise to give. Do you by chance have any other certificate? Say PG |

odundimple: Congrats on the positive assessment. 70% completion rate. What's your age point? English test? How much points in total. Will it fetch you ITA easy? In months time you can claim 15points for experience, so if you don't have the suitable English score now, aim forrit within this time frame. |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by DoDirtsLikeWorm(m): 1:35pm On Aug 09, 2018 |
odundimple: 15points for experience in 3months time. You only need 10points in English if you are below 33years old. |
