February 2018 mummies, capt lioha, booqe, bloomingbud, mummyjason, rhukkie, completey and other mamas plus all our porters club, how are we and our little ones doing? Its really been a while i checked here and pregnancy thread, maybe four months ago. My son is all grown, hes six months already. Tall and fat most people say hes bigger than his age. He sits well now and about to start crawling but his "ijogbon" is out of this world and he can cry for Africa.
Mothers are really doing a great job. I have starting preparing my body for another baby tho. I pray everything work as planned in Jesus Name.
Just checking on us all and regards to all mamas that keep the thread going.God bless everyone

Thanks for checking on us dearie. We are fine. Baby is sitting very well now but no tooth yet grin. We will be 6months on the 25th.

Halos to all mother's in da house!

i am a first time mum.. my baby is Jes 3weeks plus. I have questions about Any Mbaise. I heard it helps us get back in shape. my questions are:
1. won't the concoction affect my baby too? as I am doing exclusive breastfeeding for her, will the Aju Mbaise have effect on her too?
2. as I didn't take it within the first few weeks after delivery, will it still work if I take it again?
3. Does it shrink fibroid?

Mamas thank you all for your response, I really appreciate.
The circumcision went well, it was done by hubby's cousin who is a nurse, we did it in our house. He didn't cry much even the woman who did it really commend him, hubby insisted on being present during the process so I had no choice than to be there, I cried sha. my MIL and hubby's cousin said my tears is even more than the baby's own.
This morning was another show, we were told to remove the little bandage wrapped around it, he cried during the act.

Imagine, someone advice my MIL to wash by baby's organ with black soap, how cruel. I told her we are not using black soap, what kinda wickedness is that. I have informed hubby too, nobody should use black soap on my baby.

Hello mommas,
DS will be 6months next Monday, we've EBF so I plan to start complimentary feeding while breastfeeding continuing with breastfeeding.
Here's my issue, I have loads of breastmilk stored away, my stash could last her up to a year or more, how do I combine this with complimentary feeding so the expressed milk doesn't wqst away in my freezer. She takes the expressed milk while I'm away at work but I put her to breast whenever I'm at home.
Can iadd the breastmilk to her pap and cereal?

Lol, pele

Actually there's nothing wrong with bathing a baby with black soap. Just know the source and ensure that it is black soap for babies

I bathe my son with black soap and he's fine

If it's for bathing, I wouldn't mind but they want to use it for his newly circumcised organ. I feel the pain will be too much for him.

Good pm wonderful mamas..I trust all our los are fine.

I can't wait for the school holiday to end o, i'm tired of beating and shouting. Yesterday, dh wanted to take his multivitamins and discovered an empty sachet, he queried my toddlers and they confessed to have eaten the drugs while ransacking the house shocked, the older one confesed to have swallowed five tablets at once while her younger brother swallowed two (this children will not kill me o), come and see beating from their dad,it took my intervention to stop the beating. Now we're just scared that they have taken over dose of the multivitamins. We're thinking of taking them to see a dr this evening.......who else is having a fill of this holiday season with their toddlers or i'm i the only one? They're too hyper-active that i'm just tired cry

Teachers are really trying....

Please take it easy on them. Multivitamin shouldnt do any harms. Thank God is not a dangerous drugs. Better still, your hospital option is good to have rest of mind

They are just kids and beating sometimes dont actually change kids but talk to them with straight face does most of the time. Alot of us went through beating in school and all when we were younger and it wasnt really a nice experience.

God bless you mama grin

Like hunniesuzzie mentioned, i dont trust nanny too personally especially the ones i can not monitored myself.

So your best bet is creche. If i can do it you can. I dont live around and sometimes i dont even see any member of family including my husband for up to 3month sometimes. I do all my house work myself until recently i hired someone to wash for me every weekend. Apart from that, i do everything myself..... Solution is find a good creche, drop your baby off in the morning and pick him up in the evening when returning from work.

Wish you well

Good morning mamas
Am here for advice as a fun

Just to sample opinions......

Am resuming work soon and am torn btw the kind of nanny to chose from...
A little background.... my husband lives out of town and comes once in every two weeks even when he's around the only domestic work he does is serve his own food...
I have no family in the town I live in so really can drop D'S anywhere....

I also work nights and sometimes weekends....
Now most of my colleagues have Nannys that live with them and was planning to get that....

But thing is my Mother especially is very against that..
I have no relative who can help with this atm... though DH has a niece he's very reluctant to ask cos he doesn't want her father to say he's using her as a househelp....

Now my other options are for DS to go to Creche in the mornings and I discussed with a close sister in the Lord that has agreed to help when I need to work night and weekends.....
Now problem is I really don't know if that is sufficient help cos my job can be really exhausting as sometimes I i get home so exhausted I just sleep straight till the next day.....
Plus am a student also so I need to have time to read my books.....

For mothers that have used nannies pls which did you prefer??

Which option would u chose if u were in my shoes??
I'm also in same condition with you I'm resuming work soon and also doing exclusive. My plan is to be going to work with my baby o. The only option I'm thinking of is to probably get someone to resume work and close with me to hold my baby. I'm not doing the creche option cos I feel my baby is too young for that. embarassed Besides you said you are doing exclusive for baby how often do you intend going to creche to breastfeed when baby is in need? Won't it be stressful?

It depends on the car seat and the instruction on it, my DS started using car seat at 3 months DH started b4 6 weeks when I add to go out and there was no one to help me carry her.

lol,i just saw this. I agree with Hunniesuzie but there's no reason to use black soap only down there if he bathes with another soap. People and their over Sabi like say dem love your pikin pass you. I'm getting my fair share of the unsolicited advices left, right and centre too. Don't mind them jare.
