It is unfortunate that many don't take sexual harassment against men seriously. The lady in this thread https://www.nairaland.com/4666560/female-corper-sexually-harasses-male is wrong, sadly such thing happens regularly on a daily basis only that some men don't talk. In this particular case, nothing much will happen because the way our society treats sexual assault against a lady is different from the treatment against the man.

We all know that if the lady was the victim the man would have been in police custody, dismissed or disciplined by soldiers.

I've been following the case and I'm dissapointed with the way the authorities are handling the situation.
The Lagos head of NYSC is trying to settle the case instead of arresting the lady or dismissing her from the service.

Bros I ve to be honest here,I think that the answer is because there's no inequality between the two genders. We can scream it from now till eternity that we re equal,but the truth still remains that the genders differ.You said it yourself here now that you re not happy the way they are going about the case,so think deep and ask urself if truly the inequality we seek is attainable. I know most people will not like my post especially the ladies but God in his infinite wisdom must ve a reason to make it so. 1. Feminist (3rd wave) has painted the narrative that men are ultimately the aggressors and can't be victims

2. Madam, there are witnesses in this case so it's not non existence. The fact that the Lagos NYSC head is trying to settle the case instead of dismissing the lady also shows that it indeed happened. They're trying to calm the guy down.

This particular incidence is what we can call a one-off. Which some crafty guy can even use to yansh the girl for the remaining days on camp. Do you want to compare the amount of sexual assault (subtle and aggressive) ladies face on the same camp?
